Does anyone have biographical details on Christopher Tadgell, husband
of Lady Juliet née Fitzwilliam? Also, any information on previous wife
or wives and children?

Thanks,
Christopher Buyers

What a strange question.

I stated in my original post "biographical details on Christopher
Tadgell, husband of Lady Juliet née Fitzwilliam? Also, any information
on previous wife or wives and children".

I have only professional details from a Google search. You probably
have most of these.

http://www.ellipsis.com/catalogue/authors/Christopher_Tadgell.html
Christopher Tadgell teaches architectural history at the Kent Institute
of Art and Design and has lectured widely in Britain and the USA. Among
his publications are France: Baroque and Rococo Architecture and The
History of Architecture in India.

http://www.amerigo.nl/india/0714829609.html
Christopher Tadgell is Senior Lecturer in Architectural History at the
Canterbury School of Architecture, Kent Institute of Art and Design. In
1985 he was Morgan Professor of Architectural Design at the University
of Louisville, Kentucky.

[He has published "The History of Architecture in India" Phaidon
Press, Limited. Singapore. 1990, which is apparently highly
recommended by specialists. I haven't seen it myself, but then I am not
an architectural historian or student of ancient Indian architecture]

He is also on the Board of Directors of the Academy of Ancient Music
http://www.aam.co.uk/index.htm

That is what a quick search on Google turned up. Professional/academic
listings might turn up more, as might a "Who's Who" or the like

Thanks Shinjinee,

I had a look, but there really seems to be little information on any
online sources. I did have a look at Who's Who, but he isn't listed.

My main interest is because I have been updating some of my Malaysian
genealogies and a person named Christopher Tadgell turns up as having
married a princess from one of the sultanates.

Hmm... interesting. He wouldn't be the first academic to marry royalty
or nobility. Professor Stephen Graubaud is the second husband of a
Cavendish-Bentinck, Dr Chipman the husband of a Manners, etc. I'll add
your interest in him to the things I look out for (in wandering
websites). Tadgell's work sounds interesting, anyway.

Dr. Tadgell was my history of architecture lecturer at Canterbury in 1979. I met his wife at the time,
who was the daughter of the Sultan of Pahang. He introduced her as Mimi, but I think that was a short form.

Are we to understand that Christopher Buyers is now Christine Buyers? I guess that might explain "her" absence. Or is this another slanderous invention of Loony Louie?

We are to understand that I was referring to Shinjinee Sen,
who in fact posted in the last day.
Buyers above is responding to what Shinjinee wrote.

Your "understanding" is wrong, as always. It is bad enough that you got to wrong in the first place, but you seem to want to keep embarrassing yourself by posting inaccurate nonsense.
In my email of 1/4/16, I said
"Do you understand that this thread is over 10 years old, and the OP has not been seen or heard of in years?? "
In response, on 2/4/16 you said
"Her participation, however, would be far more welcome than Chiefy's."
My comment was with regard to the OP - the original poster - which was Christopher Buyers, not Shinjinee Sen. Simple, one would think, but not for Loony Louie.
