Instead of EVs, solutions that are a much
better fit to our society/economy...

#1. Biofuels.

The ultimate success story is Brazil, but it's
important to remember that they have an
advantageous climate and a ridiculous amount of
arable land yet still biofuels bake up less
than 20% of their transportation fuels... less
than 18%.

#2. Gas.

Meaning, natural gas or even propane. There's
already lots of retail points -- including
countless fueling stations -- that offer
this product, so it would hardly take a large
investment in infrastructure to make them work
for cars.

#3. Animals.

Horses were the mainstay of transportation for
thousands of years. They not only can get the
job done, the have gotten the job done.

#4. Synthetics.

There's coal-to-liquids and bitumen i.e. "Oil
Sands." These are inefficient compared to
traditional oil, as they require a lot of
overhead to turn them into fuel, but they do
fit seamlessly into our existing society.

You're in no position to "Translate" anything.

It's an energy shortage, or at least one pending
and NOT global warming.

Who cares? You can't see any further than yourself,
much less grasp global energy use.

According to your myths, it doesn't matter WHO is
burning the fossil fuels, or WHERE.

The globe is warming and it is warming because of co2 in the
atmosphere from burning fossil fuels. This is also called climate
change and it is happening very quickly.Too quickly for plants and
animals to adapt.

I wish.

I mean, as even retards know that "Stagnation" was never
an option, and the alternative to "Warmer" is "Colder,"
I would give just about anything to make "Global
Warming Caused by CO2" real.

But it's not.

Yep ...climate changes. It'ss been changing ever since the planet got an atmosphere and water.

Changes sometimes fast.. sometimes slow... sometimes a lot... sometimes a little.

Right now we are in a warm Interglacial Period, between Glacial Periods, during the Current Ice Age we are in.

So what's your point ? ?

Check here. You'll find
We are inside of an ice age. We are in the
tail end of an interglacial period -- a
pause between glaciations -- during an ice
age. Nobody that has anything to do with
"Climate" is denying this, except for
internet wannabes.

The earth isn't warm. It's colder than it
was before this ice age began. It's colder
than it was during the previous interglacial,
or the one before that.

There is no "Warm." It simply does not exist.

You're "Arguing" that you're so disinterested that
you wouldn't bother? Okay. So tell me how your
position will change when I show you that we are
living inside of an ice age -- a brief "interglacial
period" inside of an ice age?

Go, Mr I-Am-So-Concerned-I-Won't-Google-For-Rudimentary

an ice age -- with the mile tall glaciers (over)due to
return, will change your position.

Do that, and I'll happily provide links to sources
you could have easily found yourself, if you cared.

That doesn't make sense.

Your current "Argument" is to deny reality, deny
the fact that we are inside a cooling period, inside
of an ice age. Because, who gives a shit if we warmed
the planet? That would be a good thing. NOT warming
the planet during an ice age would be a bad thing. It
would mean that we'd be welcoming a return of the
glaciers.

Oh. CO2 isn't warming the planet any more than Saddam
had Al Qaeda ties or Dubya Bush won Florida fair &
square.

So they're looking at what happened to the previous
interglacial (the one before that was also a lot
warmer), they're looking at the climate at a time
well before human industry, and concluding that the
only way we might see that occur is by artificial
means...

Put short: What nature does is a representation of
what nature can't do.

Where have you looked?
Even the I.P.C.C. says it warmed only 0.85 degree C between 1880 - 2012 And we just came out of the colder, nastier L.I.A. You would EXPECT us to warm up a bit

And if you stepped outside your house back July 25, 1880 on an average climate day....and then stepped outside that same house again on July 25, 2012 on an a average climate day...

...all other things being equal except for the 0.85 degree increase in temperature....there would be no way in hell you would notice the change in temperature from the one day to the next. You would need a very accurate thermometer to see the difference.

Now go shake and quiver in fear and call "ALARM.... ALARM.... THE WORLD IS HEATING UP"

"The globally averaged combined land and ocean surface temperature data as calculated by a linear trend show a warming of 0.85 [0.65 to 1.06] °C 2 over the period 1880 to 2012, when multiple independently produced datasets exist."
