0-1 Ajax
Ajax completely dominant. Spurs are a bad combination of fatigue and an injury ravaged ragtag XI.

But boy do Ajax play some beautiful shorting passing football.

Vertongen off with the head injury and after that long interruption Ajax lost their rhythm. Spurs look much better with Sissoko in midfield where they were getting killed earlier. 0-1 HT.

Spurs much better in the 2nd but couldn't find a breakthrough. Only silver lining for them - losing 0-1 at home is better than losing 0-1 away in the 1st leg.

0-1 Final.

What do you mean - a 0-1 away defeat in the first match is overturned in the
return leg in more than a third of the cases, but a 0-1 home defeat only about
one in ten...

Consider a one goal victory where you score one or more goals...

And the away goals rule...

Correct. I confused the home/away and AGR permutations.

I guess that confusion is because the away goal rule is as random as the fact that right now I'm somewhere between Mamanguape and Mataraca in countryside ParaĆba. Long story...

Tchau!
