I got one two weeks ago. It felt like a cold with a mild fever for a few days and then I felt congested and low energy for another week. I’m starting to feel more like my normal self again.

Which vaccine did you have? I'm guessing Pfizer's waning vaccine efficacy against infection got me. But I'm hoping the efficacy against hospitalization holds up. So far, only a stuffy nose and sneezing.

Got my Pfizer booster shot Sunday along with my "senior" seasonal flu
shot. No impacts noted aside from a little soreness at each injection site.

I had Pfizer. Second shot in April fools day, which was about six months prior to my tested positive.
2 days after my second shot.

Weirdly so did I.
I remember particularly because 4/1 is also my mother's birthday.

My uneducated exspurt opinion based on minutes of research at the medical college of the University of the Internet is that the vaccine had lost enough effectiveness so that I could become infected but was still effective enough to help keep me from getting seriously ill.

The vaccine was developed on his watch. He should be bragging about that
nonstop and getting his supporters to take it, vaccine refusal is actually
an insult to Trump.

You are much older than I would have thought (no offense). You and I are both raising young kids at a slightly older than normal age.

Happy birthday!

Girlfriend and our 5 year old both had covid. Pretty sure 5 yo brought it home from school. Hers was the sniffles. GF was miserable sick for a week, but not life threatening. Her mom and sister and nephew all had it at the same time. Her mom is about your age and she was sicker than Hayley and went to the er a couple times but they sent her home. I didn't get sick at all even though the 5 year old tends to sneeze on me more than I like and gf and I exchanged fluids up to symptom onset.

Gf's grandparents both were vaccinated and were unaffected even though they were around all of the sick ones leading up to the onset of symptoms.

Dated late, married late, and had kids late (all relative to each other, which adds up). Definitely noticeable when I'm doing things like coaching my kid's baseball games - about 10 years older than a lot of the other coaches.

Well, I was vaccinated but it seemed to be limited to congestion and fatigue. Got cleared today. Nobody else seems to have gotten it in my household. Still wonder if one of my two kids brought it home but were asymptomatic.
