Thelma Todd TCM Summer Under the Stars August 30!

Yes Thelma will get a day on TCM which will include many of her shorts with
Charley Chase, Zasu Pitts and Patsy Kelly. In prime time her two Marx Brothers
efforts will be shown (Monkey Business and Horsefeathers). Also the first
version of "The Maltese Falcon" in which Thelma plays Milles Archer's widow will
be shown in the early hours of August 31.

Thanks for the info! Just in time before the newsgroup nearly slipped
over the horizon again (at least the posts I get through my
newserver). I'm starting to wonder how long my ISP will provide
newsgroups as part of the service (Cablevision Optonline here in NJ).

Dana Schwartz (who will try harder to contribute something once in a
while when things slow down a bit around the homefront and at work...)

While I haven’t seen a lot of the shorts, who do members here prefer
more, Thelma Todd teamed with Pitts, or with Kelly, or can just do
without, and skip the series all together?
