Democrats Endorse Donald Trump In 2016 Presidential Race

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/03/18/donald-trump-2016-democrats_n_6894956.html

WASHINGTON -- Democrats are jumping with glee over news that Donald
Trump is officially exploring a run for president.

Democratic National Committee Press Secretary Holly Shulman issued a
three-word response Wednesday, after the real estate mogul announced
he was taking formal steps toward a 2016 bid, including the hiring of
key staff in the early primary states of Iowa, New Hampshire and South
Carolina.

"Everything is awesome," Shulman said in an email to reporters, in
reference to the hit song of the same name from the "The Lego Movie."

Shulman then noted Trump's history of controversial statements --
questioning President Barack Obama's birthplace, opposing immigration
reform and commenting on sexual assault in the military.

Trump is heading to New Hampshire this week, where he'll sit down with
a group of local veterans and business owners. A recent Wall Street
Journal/NBC News poll found that an overwhelming majority -- 74
percent -- of GOP primary voters said they can't see themselves
supporting Trump in the race for the White House.

******

He is worse than Cruz.

We need a third Party.

Trump is as much a clown as Obobo.

Personally I think Trump is a closet Democrat. He does nothing but
hurt the name of Republicans. Like Cruz.

Sadly I've seen this on other news sources hope it is false.

Oh, *nobody* will take Trump seriously. On the left, we have Hillary
looming large, though. If I were a 'Pub right now, I'd be tossing the
Baggers under the bus and trying to stake a claim to a centerist
position which would force Hillary to show her ultra liberal colors.

I think the old: "Come; let us reason together," bit is a winning
strategy for the Republicans in '12; accept the ACA; "However, our
ideas make it better!" You just need a candidate who can pull it off
and I don't see one. Oh, yeah... he or she has to get the nomination
and a lot of people won't feel very "reasonable", but it's a winning
tactic. The alternative is at least four years of Hillary, I think.

Sanity? Well it depends how you judge. She isn't as insane as
Palin or Cruz. Not as left as Warren or Obama. How left is she on
Fiscal issues? I have no intention of voting for her unless a Cruz
type won the primary.

Now the question what candidate currently thinking of running do you

Yeah, that's about my feelings. I'd guess she'd follow Bill's lead on
matters fiscal and, while he certainly had his foibles, he was pretty
good as an economist. Of course, he had good economists on staff

Worse yet for Conservatives (after suffering major defeats in
economics, Bad foriegn policy, domestic policy)---is that Clinton WILL
go down as one of the greatest presidents in history.

Consider that Eisenhower had a mistress, and raygun took counsel from

Yes, I'm aware that there have been many past presidential dalliances
and I do not believe that Clinton's character should be judged
entirely by that alone any more than Martin L. King's plagiarism of
his dissertation should negate his life's work.

Besides JFK, Clinton was the most blatant philanderer, though... and
certainly the seediest! Gimme a break; getting a blow job from a
bimbo intern in the supply room kind of sets a new record low for the
old "low rent rendezvous", does it naught?

But, to his credit, his policies (foreign and domestic) worked pretty
well. Also, two of his eight years had virtually zero deficit...
which, while beating everyone else, still isn't good enough, bit it's
a start. I tend to think that his success in office was more
attributable to good luck than anything else in that nobody flew an
airplane into anything and the economy didn't melt down on his watch.

I didn't always agree with Bill but liked him better than Bush Jr or
Obama. Much better. Hillary is a little to left for me but.......
Plus Bill is friends with Bush Sr and that surprised me.

For me on the right any Candidate that tried to mix Religion with
government policies will be a No. Any Cruz types NO. I'd like to see
a debate that was more than a scripted reality show maybe one with
question from the people un edited. How will they fix problems.

If the Republican nominate a establishment type what I expect is like
last time with Tea Party members saying totally stupid things near
election time like Rape is the fault of the victim and such. Their
stupidity gave Obama 4 more ears.

We need Tea Shirt showing a muzzle on Cruz.

No comment on Cruz.

It's time for a viable Republican candidate to start signaling his or

recognition isn't *always* a good thing! The earlier you get in, the
better people know who you are; however, you also have more time to

Did you see her last speech? She if she can be believed would try to
work with Republican Congress something Obama won't even try to do.
Guy thinks he is king or something. She complimented Bush Jr
She's a liar and criminal. She is as incompetent as the day is long. I
begin to question your sanity. A lot like the American Jew voting for
Democrats over and over whilst the Democrats build the cattle cars and
camps for them.
Sanity? Well it depends how you judge. She isn't as insane as
Palin or Cruz. Not as left as Warren or Obama. How left is she on
Fiscal issues? I have no intention of voting for her unless a Cruz
type won the primary.
Now the question what candidate currently thinking of running do you
like?
Neither Pali nor Cruz is insane. You have clearly been brainwashed by the
press. Pity, you showed such promise.

Me? I think Walker is a good choice. Executive experience, good agenda,
proven record of kicking Democrat ass.

Voting for Hilary under any circumstances is a sign of either mental
illness or evil intent. Period.

Oh, yeah... he or she has to get the nomination
and a lot of people won't feel very "reasonable", but it's a winning
tactic. The alternative is at least four years of Hillary, I think.

for the president has become no more significant than the Miss America

"coolness" as opposed to qualifications and ability.

I'm not impressed with how much effort either side of the isle is
putting into working with the other. I voted for Obama in '08 and
have been somewhat disappointed in him; however, I wasn't even *about*
to help Palin gain a national office... she was downright scary!

I haven't seen Hillary's speech from yesterday (3/19). I don't put
just a tremendous amount of faith in politicians' speeches, though...
I'm nonpartisan on that. I suppose I'll read the synopsis.

My take is that it's time for the Republicans to knock off sitting on
the sidelines sniping at Obama and to demonstrate true leadership...
which is what the U.S. needs. The problem is that the radical fringes
of either party can raise such a cacophony that the voices of reason
within that party go unheard. I wonder if a real leader would have a
chance of being elected?

Hilary would make George W. Bush and the Obamatron look like puppies.
She's a Hawk, with a capital H.

My guess is that she would start with Putin, mine the Sevastopol harbor
in the Crimea, then take all those seditious Russian speaking actors in
"The Americans" TV series hostage. Including the Welshman who plays
Phillip.

I never thought that would occur.
Hindsight being 20/20, Palin would not have screwed the entire nation
with a healthcare act that has cost more people than it benefited.
ISIS would have never had the opportunity to grow to the extent that
it has. Israel would not be on the verge of being totally abandoned
by what was once their most loyal ally. The borders would have not
been simply opened wide for any and all who just wanted to walk
across. Local police departments would have not been accused of all
being racist jackbooted enemies of the public. And Christianity would
not have been attacked on behalf of muslim extremists, just to name a
few. And Palin would not have likely attempted to "rule" the nation
by executive fiat. If she had ran and won and then done pretty much
nothing the nation would be less divided and in better shape than it
is now after Obama doing so much to promote his agenda.
She would not have attempted to "fundamentally change" the entire
state of America.
Looking at all of the negative criticisms of Palin by the left, you
see them attributing false statements made by a female comedian to
her, lambasting her for daring to have an autistic child and
childishly ridiculing of her family. And neither her nor any of her
family members ever insinuated that they "were never proud of this
nation".
But people in general are stupid sheep that swallow anything and
everything the propagandists feed them like it's their favorite ice
cream and vote against their own self interests based on such
stupidity as "he's cool" and "he can break it down".
And the trend will continue.
The American people deserve every ounce of pain and misery they have
elected for themselves and they will continue to point the finger in
every direction blaming everyone except those that are really
responsible for it.

I wasn't even *about* to help Palin gain a national
office... she was downright scary!
I'm Just Wondering, what specifically did you find scary about Palin?
That she might have become President.
Nobody asked you. YOUR opinion isn't worth squat.
Just informing you since you don't seem capable of keeping up.
Didn't the thought of Palin becoming President scare you?

Very. Look at Dudu for example. He's all for taking away the wealth of other
people and distributing it to the poor....but does he distribute his own
wealth to the poor?

Na, he threatens to murder anyone that tries to take what he has.

Liberal rules? They're only for the other guy.....

election of a Republican president? What was that guy's name... he

No, wait... that's the *other* thing I gotta remember.

a) that "insurance" they had was WORTHLESS. Cost little---but paid
NOTHING.

b) Worthless insurance eventually does the same---doesn't pay when
needed---making the state/taxpayer pay.

c) The cost of insurance went down---the ACA won't pay the NEEDLESS
crap the insurance companies charged for

d) It also blocked the High Salaries, admin costs, Equipment and drugs
that were making the Shareholders wealthy.

Didn't any of this get mentioned on faux snooze?

Imagine that ! !

also and, in small doses, it's not always bad. Palin had an aura of
instability more than unpredictability. You might not like Obama;
however, he's not going to be way, *way* out in left field. With
Palin, I just wasn't sure whether she was a soccer mom or a poisonous
toad. I got the impression that she could go either way.

way she will go.

I'm not qualified to diagnose that... I couldn't get a good handle on
*what* she might have done. Alaska wasn't just real happy with her
performance as governor, as I recall. The baggers like he because
she's fringe right; I wouldn't feel any better about her if she wanted
to ban all guns and legalize pot... and it wouldn't surprise me a bit
if she did!

At least Biden is a known quantity. I didn't jump up and down over

Palin is great! I want her on a ticket with The Donald (and that

Of course Palin could be replaced by Michele Bachmann, but that would
be crazy. She claims to be "American, Swiss" not American. That's

Better than Salon.com. :-))
I think it's way, way too late for the Republicans to try to take a
centrist position.
Post by ¡Jones
I think the old: "Come; let us reason together," bit is a winning
strategy for the Republicans in '12; accept the ACA; "However, our
ideas make it better!" You just need a candidate who can pull it off
and I don't see one. Oh, yeah... he or she has to get the nomination
and a lot of people won't feel very "reasonable", but it's a winning
tactic. The alternative is at least four years of Hillary, I think.
Republicans keep insisting their ideas are better but they never have
any.

I'm not at all extremist. If you think so you've never seen any. I'm
pretty much just moderate left. I proudly call myself a socialist
because everything we have good in our society is because of
socialism. And lately the right wing has gone so far right that it is
scary. Just another march to fascism. Concerned liberals need to
sit up and take notice. If you think I have any actual facts
distorted feel free to make a case. Until then I will support
Hillary and speak out against the right wingers. They have done
enough damage to society. Time to draw the line in the sand. You
don't like it well you can just get over it.

Trump is a shoe-in. He already has that thing on his head as running
mate.

Trump is a shoe-in.
So Trump is a shoe-in....
Not that long ago you told us that you guaranteed that Hillary would
wing....
So where you lying then, or are you lying now?
I mean since you claim your predictions are always right.
Um, for one thing it's a joke...
Ah, Dudu Defense tactic #1, when caught in a lie, claim you're joking.
You really thought the Democrats endorsed Donald Trump...

incredible. Once again, it's satire and you didn't get any of it.

god you're stupid

Carolina.
"Everything is awesome," Shulman said in an email to reporters, in
reference to the hit song of the same name from the "The Lego Movie."

questioning President Barack Obama's birthplace, opposing immigration
reform and commenting on sexual assault in the military.

Dudu Defense Tactic #2, when #1 fails, set up a strawman and attempt to
divert attention.

So Trump is a shoe-in....
He didn't say a "shoe-in" to what!

I wonder what the origin of that term is. Most dictionaries say it's
"shoo-in"; however, it's not universally accepted... but, then... what
is?

"This expression purportedly comes from the practice of corrupt
jockeys holding their horses back and shooing a preselected winner
across the finish line to ..."

Others claim it means to place one's "shoe in" the door. If anybody
sees Klaus, ask him, please; he knows lots of shit!

Whatever it is, Trump must be one of 'em because I saw it on the
internet!

Trump is just part of the sideshow. Just part of the entertainment.
He's a bit of a distraction from the clown car that keeps circling the
bigtop.
