that Thanos was right and killing half the universe might save it. Some

real world where someone might regard him as a role model. That at
least is the fear that they had, that it might inspire a mass killing
from someone who sees himself in the character. It wasn't a personal

did happen, the theatres and police depts would get roundly
criticized and probably sued big time. So, those exposed
entities were just trying to cover their ass. I can't blame them.
