Midwest Swiss Steak
Ingredients
2.5 lb. round steak, cut into steak sizes
1 tsp. salt & 1 tsp. pepper, combined
some oil
1 medium onion, cut into rings
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (10 ounce) cans cream of celery soup
1 (10 ounce) cans cream of mushroom soup
10 ounces water
Directions
Season one side only of each steak. Brown meat and onions.
Combine soups and water. Add this liquid to cover bottom of cooking vessel.
Add meat. Place onions on top.
Cover and bake (300 degrees, turning down to 275 after a while) for about 3 hours
