in the White House, dumb fuck Trumper.
It's easy to understand. After all - his mother was born in Scotland. Just a few
miles north of England. She didn't come to America til she was 18.
Although I was born in England, I'm pretty much
American now though I never have applied for
citizenship.
As I've mentioned before, as a young man -- I really would have liked to have lived in
England. And would have done so if I could have gotten a job. But .. I couldn't.
After living there for two years, my parents and I (about age 10) left in the early
1950s. Funny thing -- just as we were leaving, my uncle (mother's brother) moved his
English wife and her family back to England. (they met during WW2.) They had a son a
little younger than me.
Guess what ? After all these years, their son (my cousin) finally visited us here in
Georgia for a family reunion about 6 or 7 years ago. I really liked him -- and we've
been e-mail friends ever since. (Although born in America of an American father -- he has
never wanted to come live here. Can't blame him)
Post by rumpelstiltskinI don't hate Trump as much as many
liberals do though, and unless he screws up much
worse than he's done so far, I expect him to win
a second term.
Funny thing about Trump. I have no use for him. But I had even less use for Hillary
Clinton (or her husband "Slick Willie") So I voted for Trump.
I didn't care for Obama, but most of the recent Democrat nominees would be much more
appealing to me than Trump. Such as Al Gore and John Kerry. (good men) If the
Democrats can't come up with a good candidate by 2020 -- I suppose I will just "not vote".
John Kerry is thinking about running for president in 2020.
