Susan's and Clarries did and all is well. I'm glad as it was difficult
for themat work and at home, but am I just a grumpy old woman to find
the scene a bit convenient and sentimental. Ok, it was sort of
touching but...

And then Rory and Elizabeth..it explains the sudden connection that
they reminded us that his mother was at LL for a while when she was
dying, and the photo was what made Rory ask Elizabeth. It was a little
sentimental, but then I'm being a GOW again.

Is there something inthe air at the SW's writing room? Is it a new
editor policy to steer all ships into a safe harbour, or are these the
snug ends of long ago set story lines? I wish they'd do similar with
Ed and Emma and also the house, as that one upsets me more. I think
heis a lovely person and she can be at her best if they get back
together and are secure. Can we have some Grundy happiness, please?

When the sw’s meet for a conflab, they all sit around a table in a room
with a long, large banner that contains just these few words written in day
glow orange: ‘Never, ever give a Grundy an even break’. Pardon me Vicky but
I thought you knew about this!

Well, you can't please everyone. I thought both scenes were nicely done and
was pleased by them.

Me too. I expect it to happen soon, Joe's death seems to be the catalyst
for reconciliations. Even Willyum and Ed seem to be getting on now.

I expect Oliver will let Eddie, Clarrie and Ed stay at Grange Farm and
Willyerm will move into 1 the Green (OP if it didn't happen in last
night's epi).

Better still would be Willyum staying at Grange Farm with Clarrie and Eddie
(and Poppy?) while Ed and Emma move into No.1 - or vice versa.

Yes it would, but see the other post about the Grundy's banner in the SW

Ed and Emma certainly deserve each other. And no one else deserves either
of them. But I doubt they'll get back together. Emma will end up a bitter
version of her aunt Tracy.

"Trial by Jury", I think (unless WSG re-used phrases; "Pinafore"'s about
the only G&S I _don't_ know very well [Dad was in most of them,
including as the Judge in TbJ]).
