I have a dead new-born kitten frozen in the freezer. It's been there for
three weeks.

Don't ask.

Really, mate. I found it there about twenty minutes ago. I had forgotten
I'd put it there.

Was the poor kitten dead when you put it there 3 weeks ago?

WTF?

I don't know where to post anymore. I have this article I'd like
to discuss, but don't know where to put it. It came from x-posted
political groups, but I'd like to be able to actually discuss it.
The article is here:
Message-ID: <4f7b21e3$0$17874$***@news.newshosting.com>

I'll set the follow up to: alt.politics.scorched-earth

as it is a political discussion and everyone agreed to fight in
this group, right?

Far be it from me to tell you where to post, but if it doesn't concern
the latest Jenn fiasco, I'd post it in SE. I still post things there, I
simply ignore the garbage from some because I would really like SE to
get to where it was when you and others went off to your "secret" place.
No offense, but there were many discussions by various people before
Jenn screwed it by bringing her fight in there. Since I read this in
afj, this original comment belongs here I think. I'll check out the
article in SE if I haven't already.

Me neither.

It's much easier to stuff a new-born kitten into a freezer than a full-
grown cat- *they* tend to scratch and spit quite a lot.

Indeed it does, mate. :-)
Why did you *put* it in the freezer?
I'm so glad you asked.

This slut of a cat here (the one we have never named) gave birth to a
litter of four kittens three weeks ago or so. All live births.

A couple of hours later, my younger lad went to check on them and this one
was stone cold dead, under the mother. Stupid cat must've suffocated it. I
was told about this when I got in, but by then it was too dark, cold and
wet outside to go out there and conduct the required ceremony.

I placed the deceased into a food bag and threw it in the freezer until I
had time to bury it.

And promptly forgot about it :-)

I only remembered it when I went to the freezer to hunt for something
specific in there and came across the food bag.

I smiled to myself and decided this would be a great story to tell on
usenet (minus the details, of course :-)).

Fucker's *still* in the freezer LOL.

When I took that picture, it was late, it was cold, it was dark.

It was also taken on Wednesday night. Our bins are emptied by the waste
disposal operatives (bin-men, we call 'em) on Thursday morning. My
intention was to throw the corpse into a bin-bag with the rest of the
rubbish when I put the bin out.

D'oh! I forgot.

Fucker's *still* in the fucking freezer.

It's OK though. It's a three-star freezer.
