Robin William's Plan for Peace..........

I see a lot of people yelling for peace but I have not heard of a plan
for peace. So, here's one plan.

1) The US will apologize to the world for our "interference" in their
affairs, past & present. You know, Hitler, Mussolini, Tojo, Noriega,
Milosevic and the rest of those 'good ole boys', We will never
"interfere" again.

2) We will withdraw our troops from all over the world, starting with
Germany, South Korea and the Philippines. They don't want us there.
We would station troops at our borders. No one sneaking through holes
in the fence.

3) All illegal aliens have 90 days to get their affairs together and
leave. We'll give them a free trip home. After 90 days the remainder
will be gathered up and deported immediately, regardless of who or
where they are. France would welcome them.

4) All future visitors will be thoroughly checked and limited to 90
days unless given a special permit. No one from a terrorist nation
would be allowed in. If you don't like it there, change it yourself
and don't hide here. Asylum would never be available to anyone. We
don't need any more cab drivers or 7-11 cashiers.

5) No foreign "students" over age 21. The older ones are the bombers.
If they don't attend classes, they get a "D" and it's back home baby.

6) The US will make a strong effort to become self-sufficient energy
wise. This will include developing non-polluting sources of energy but
will require a temporary drilling of oil in the Alaskan wilderness.
The caribou will have to cope for a while.

7) Offer Saudi Arabia and other oil producing countries $10 a barrel
for their oil. If they don't like it, we go some place else. They can
go somewhere else to sell their production. (About a week of the wells
filling up the storage sites would be enough.)

8) If there is a famine or other natural catastrophe in the world, we
will not "interfere." They can pray to Allah or whomever, for seeds,
rain, cement or whatever they need. Besides most of what we give them
is stolen or given to the army. The people who need it most get very
little, if anything.

9) Ship the UN Headquarters to an isolated island some place. We don't
need the spies and fair weather friends here. Besides, the building
would make a good homeless shelter or lockup for illegal aliens.

10) All Americans must go to charm and beauty school. That way, no one
can call us "Ugly Americans" any longer. The Language we speak is
ENGLISH.....learn it...or LEAVE...Now, isn't that a winner of a plan.

"The Statue of Liberty is no longer saying 'Give me your poor, your
tired, your huddled masses'. She's got a baseball bat and she's
yelling, "You want a piece of me?"

Touche'. On the one hand, there are problems justifying our invasion of
Iraq, but on the other hand, what if someone had done it to Germany in 1938?
Would they have been able to convince the world that it was justified?

Nobody knew. Just like nobody knows now, that Bush has to be stopped,
since that's exactly the point we're at now.

Apparently the American Sheeple have decided to usher in the fourth reich,
with George W. Bush as the new fuehrer. Or maybe Cheney.

I weep for our country.

Surely you must have known it wasn't written by the same Robin Williams
who speaks at Dem fund raisers.

What strikes me is that the writing style of "Robin Williams" and "Bill
Gates" and many other people, is identical. I wonder if there is one
guy somewhere who originates all these, secure in the knowledge that he
won't be tracked down the way virus authors are. He must get the same
sort of satisfaction but is more successful at it.

The other other candidate chickened out of real national service and
couldn't even be bothered to turn up for his trivial duties. Admitting
to killing people is hardly a bad thing for a soldier (or whatever
they call people in the navy), that's what they do. He was SUPPOSED to
kill people. So was Bush. Bush chickened out because he realised
people might try to kill him too - that might interfere with his
narcotics abuse. His family were influential, so he had a way out. He
took it. Pussy.

As for war crimes, you're naive if you think that most soldiers in
Vietnam didn't cross that line.

I think BUSH fits in fine with that group
The only Presidential candidate who admits to killing people and
admits to war crimes is, uh, the other one. But please, don't let
facts interfere with your fun.
He
took it. Pussy.
Hmmm, who were the other famous military heroes of the Democratic
party? Oh yes, Bill Clinton and Teddy Kennedy. Funny how nobody wants
to talk about *their* military service. W at least served in the
Guard. So how come military heroism has suddenly become chic with the
Hollywood crowd?
Post by Tim Auton
As for war crimes, you're naive if you think that most soldiers in
Vietnam didn't cross that line.
Fine, but do we want them to be President?

Oh, this is funny, if true:

http://www.drudgereport.com/dnc8.htm

It'll be interesting to see how this washes out.
Post by Tim Auton
p.s. I wasn't born for most of the Vietnam conflict, but I do know how
to read.
Well, I was not only born, but 1A. But I was designing weapons
systems, so they let me off. I did spend a week in the Navy, but
that's a whole nother story.

I didn't either. But I just don't understand how Bill got to be sexy
and charismatic for being a groper (and likely a rapist) while Arnie
is reveiled for less. And why Bill was cool for being a total draft
dodger while W is a "pussy" (interesting choice of words) for being a
pilot in the National Guard.

Suddenly, this season, you have to be a killer to be a good Democrat.
But at least Teddy qualifies.

Can you explain any of this?

All draft boards would let a Rhodes Scholar avoid induction.

It's because Bush pulled strings to get into the guard, using family
connections. Then he trained on a jet that wasn't used in Vietnam, so it
was unlikely that he would ever be sent there. Then he didn't show up for
the last 2 years.

Yeah. Time was that the repub leadership had to plot to keep Newt G
from visiting the White House, because he was falling under Bill's
spell. He is some sort of supernatural force.

Charisma without principles is dangerous. Rhetoric, looks, music, and
emotion can sway feelings in most any direction. I think JFK and
television began the US craze for electing people just because they
look and sound cool; Viet Nam was our reward.

I recently saw a talk by Dick Morris. He said that Bill and Hillary
have one overriding thing that binds them together: Hillary's great
love for Bill, and Bill's great love for Bill.

I thinks it's really all about power. They're *both* power hungry and
know that they *each* have more power if they stay together. I don't
think there's any *love* involved.

I understand that Bill let certain lower-level [1] parties listen in
on his official business. The difference between Bill and Dick is that
Morris is both perceptive and funny. Oh, the other difference is that
Dick lost his job, and Bill didn't.

But I'm for making it an amendment.
Post by Jim Thompson
