validity.

Below is the link for “Do Not Call List Canada” which will help REDUCE
the number of calls that you receive from telemarketers. At this site
you can register as many numbers as you wish, home, work, cell, fax, etc.

REMEMBER --Cell phone Numbers go public next month

REMINDER..... all cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing
companies and you will start to receive sales calls.

YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS

It’s easy to do. Use the "Do Not Call List Canada" web site and
register your phone there

I've gotten more unsolicited calls since being put on the nation wide do not
call list than I did before being on it.

I have found the opposite. The only unsolicited calls I have gotten at
the one form "the captain of a ship" telling me I won a cruise. I dont
want any calls coming to my cell, thats for sure

far "fewer", not far "less"

"less" is used when comparing things which cannot be counted
individually, such as inanimate objects or concepts. "fewer" is used
when comparing things which can be individualized - eg one apple, two
apples, one call, two calls, etc...

for example - Joe has less patience than Bill, but Dr. Smith has fewer
patients than Dr. Jones.

You're absolutely right Fred, thanks for pointing that out.
Could I point out that sentences should begin with a capital
letter? ;^)

What phone numbers can I register on the National DNCL?

You can register any or all of your Canadian telephone numbers on the
National DNCL. The number can be associated with a home phone (i.e.,
wireline) service, cell phone or wireless (i.e., mobile or satellite)
service, VoIP service, or a fax machine.

Of course you can register your cell phone number and if you think that a
telemarketer is somehow going to get a hold of your number, perhaps you
should. However, the only way this could happen through a public listing is
with your blessing. Your cell phone number cannot be made pubic without
your permission. Call and speak with one of the operators at the DNCL, they
will confirm that this email is a hoax.

I didn't sign up for the Do Not Call List - I have my own Do Not Answer List
and it is very simple - if I don't recognize the number, I don't answer it.
If it is a legitimate call, they'll leave a message We have a second line
that we don't use and every now and then that rings - they hang up rather
quickly when they hear Happy Fields Funeral Home......

As the DND is an abbreviation of Do Not Disturb function. The DND is an initiative taken by TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) to prevent the customers from unsolicited calls and SMS. Some Do Not Disturb attributes contains directing the call to a pre-allotted extensions, busy signal, DND signal or recorded message generated by telephone switch

NDNC which stands for National Do Not Call Registry or do not call list provides you the complete information about how to start DND and to stop it. Also Check DND status of your mobile number and get do not call list numbers.
