Labour can do it at brek neck speed as it seems to consider that the idea
needs no planning attached to it. Just open up the throttle for take off.

Peter Dunne has been a National apologist for many years now, but
within that role has always revelled in having a foot in two camps -
but he does point out the arguments being used by National - whatever
the government does, it is easy to either say they should have done it
earlier, or they shoud have waited. That sort of mindless criticism
has permeated some opposition spokespeople - one of the pair of Chris
Bishop and Simon Bridges was often claiming that a decision was made
one day late - the other that it was two days late; I can't remember
now which one was which.

With health, there were imperatives identified before the election -
post code lotteries for some services, poor maintenance of buildings,
nurses underpaid and not enough of them - and then came Covid which
threatened to overwhelm hospitals (and did in other countries)!
With education, our internationa standings had been dropping under
National for some time due to their lack of flexibility or willingness
to listen to the experts. Changes there have not been particularly
rushed, and a lot of consultation is continuing on the future.
With Water, we had wisespread concerns about the safety of water (with
polluted rivers and sickness in Hawkes Bay), and concerns about supply
(with tankers being needed inonepart of NZ in the last year. Again
major changes have been discussed and are still being consulted.

A mischevous article, but then that's fairly normal from Dunne . . .

You really hate people who realise how irresponsible and vicious your favourite
party is, don't you?
Dunne left Labour because he realised how distructive the party is. You
however, don't have the integrity to do that.

So what did Dunne wrote a mischievous (note correct spelling Rich!) article Rich? I'm a bit surprised you didn't call it fake news. but then you know every word Dunne wrote ws true! You claim Dunne is a National apologist. What the hell was he when he worked with Labour? A fellow comrade? Better Dunne and honesty rather than the lies you and the Labour party are shoveling out on an almost daily basis!
