my name is mrunal rane from mumbai andheri
i have read ur article about bombay to goa ships .
i also sailed many times from both of them to devgad
i still remember those old days of sailing when i was small
but even then those ships are not their i go to bhau cha dhakka
it is very good to see i have taken photos of ships from movies like
coolie & jalwa
it has got shooting of it pls send me some pictures of those ships if u
have or some old
remembrence . dou remember the sweet cake use to get on the ship

If I remember correctly the ships were named MV Konkan Sevak, MV Rohini, and
MV Sarita (later named Konkan Shakti). Before my time, there were the
steamships SS Champavait and SS Rohidas.
