Hi,
I have a customer who's sbs2003 has been having problems with 'partially
recieving' faxes for the last few months now on their external shared fax
device (MultiTech MT5600ZDX).. even though a support ticket has only been
raised last week.
Fax is fairly mission critical to the company and I have tried several ways
to resolve it, but the problem just seems to be getting worse and worse.
They can send faxes fine, and intermitently recieve(50%~), but as they are
often important documents its not good enough.
updated modem drivers,
Windows update,
Another new modem (cables inc.),
Phone Line test,
Reconfigured the fax,
changed the baud rate (on modem and ports),
Uninstalled / reinstalled fax service.
None of the above have helped, has anyone got any idea's please? Would be
MUCH appreciated!

the problems you see.
Another person mentioned that they had problems with external modems and
could not get faxes reliably and switched to a BT internal modem card
and it resolved their problems.
What fax software are you using?
How is the modem connected to the server port built into the server or
another card?
