Yes, you have to take care of the Pennies and then the pounds will look
after themselves.

Wishing you a very happy birthday, Penny, and many more to come. Here,
enjoy this glass of Hasset Hills from Joe. Cheers!

Honestly, you’ll all think I’ve lost my marbles completely! The trouble is
that once I have read a post, it instantly disappears. All I can see is the
next post on. I was so keen to be on time for what I thought was Penny’s
birthday that I dashed off a post and felt extraordinarily pleased with
myself. Yes, even more than usual. Who shouted that?

That’s why I haven’t posted much lately. I can either reply to something
without having read the whole thread , or just read and enjoy but be unable
to reply. Serena(?) sent me what might have been a solution and it partly
works but I have to remember not to read the last post in a thread and
don’t always.

Apologies for the misunderstanding, Penny. Please accept this flagon of
Hassett Hills as a token of my abject self-abasement.

I don't think I can take the credit for that. If it was anything I
suggested, I can't now remember what it was!

Will they accept my English bus pass? Might have to fly to Aberdeen to be
there by that time though.

Aberdeen Waterloo opened 1856, closed to passengers 1867, still open for goods.

Not for many years. But a neighbour and his extensive family went last summer as guests at a wedding in the ruins of the cathedral.

The cathedral was in ruins _before_ the wedding right?
Or was it a very lively affair?
