It's great, as long as I don't look straight at it. It's in a light fixture that we otherwise almost never turn on.

6,000 lumens is a lot of lumens.

Why did you purchase something so bright that you rarely turn on??

We have two lights in the kitchen, one is just a 6W LED globe and the
other is a large LED tube, wattage somewhere around 30W I guess.
It's good to have both options.

The brightest light bulbs I use here are 60 Watt bulbs. I do use the led
equivalent to those though whatever they are. They give off the yellowed
light, not the cold white light and so far have lasted for years.
My kitchen and bedroom lights stay on 24/7. Bathroom and computer desk
light gets turned on and off.
You sleep with the light on?

Light, fan and television (very low volume) on at all times.
What kind of retarded quoting have you invented?

It isn't a bright harsh white LED bulb but I wouldn't be able to sleep
if I left the bedside lamp on. I don't go into the kitchen in the
middle of the night so no need to leave a light on in there.

Same here, I can't sleep with a light on. I may have passed out once or
twice with a light on, but when that last happened, I woke up to it
irritated in the middle of the night.

You also like some sort of noise at night, IIRC.

Your bedroom "lights" must not be as bright as mine. With all of them
on, I could do brain surgery in there. OTOH, I have a bedside light that
isn't so bright.

I like "white noise". Actually, the sound machine is set to rain with
occasional thunder. :) I've always been able to sleep well when it's
storming. My bedside lamp isn't bright white light but I cannot sleep
with it on. I don't leave a light on in the kitchen. But hey, I also
don't get up and snack on canned green beans at midnight.

I like "white noise".
Sometimes I use either the "Fireplace HD" channel or the french-language
equivalent "Feu de Foyer HD" that both come with the free channel lineup
of my Bell high-speed Internet package.

They are just the right mix of noise and sonoral entropy for really easy
listening. Contrarily, I find the 'bubbling' sound of the two Aquarium
channels quite distracting.

Lol. Snacking on canned green beans is not real food to me. I remember
someone else saying that but it wasn't me.

I like the trilogy of light, tv and fan on all night. If the power goes
out at night, the lack of all 3 wakes me up immediately just like an
alarm going off.
