Just about everyone knows about Ted Bundy and Jeffrey Dahmer; but not
many people know about another serial killer named Charles Cullen. This

child sexual abuse claims between 1980 and 2015, the report found. More
than 40 percent of claims were received by a handful of male orders.
The current set of hearings, focused on the Catholic Church, previously
heard that 7 percent of priests working in Australia between 1950 and
2010 were accused of child sex crimes, but few were pursued.
The report was based on analysis of data kept by Catholic Church
authorities. Last year, Australia's most senior Catholic, Cardinal
George Pell said the church had made "enormous mistakes" and
"catastrophic" choices by refusing to believe abused children, shuffling
abusive priests from parish to parish and over-relying on counselling of

My thoughts as a poem on the Russell Street, Melbourne bombing of 1300
hours 27 March, 1986.
Some decades subsequent, the public reading aloud of that poem outside a
Telstra store (location withheld) was made as a non-aggressive mode of
protestation, at being previously sold, by slight of hand, a superseded
mobile in deference to my request for the latest model (which was still
then a week from its release).
It was then, the substantiating as grounds of an irrational fear held by
a female manager of that Telstra store, for then pursuing at the local
Magistrate's Court an Intervention Order, that sought to preclude my
entry into or maintaining a proximity to the store in question for a
period of 12 months thereafter.
The poetry wasn't openly aggressive or threatening, but it was
associated to my limited understanding of Kantian metaphysics and
obscure concepts like the noumenon (if such a thing exists at all) as an
object which is outside the use of ordinary sense perception and to
which events are said to occur; and Kant's view in Critique of Pure
Reason, that human understanding is structured by "concepts of the
understanding" or pure categories of understanding that the mind uses in
order to make sense of raw unstructured experience.
I was at the time, doing some informal research in belief systems and
regimes of governance associated with attributed time and wrote the
poem's dialectic prose in accordance with derived and computed
mathematical categories obtained from a paradigm that I had developed
and which was anchored to a reprise point as conception of the
LOGOS/CHRONOS as Rational PI obtained from the Dead Sea Scroll's six
year 364 day/year calendaring fragments and base-7 chronology comprising
days, weeks and jubilees associated with the cosmological cycle of the
sun/moon on the Equinox of Wednesday 20 March 1996 / New Moon on
Thursday 21 March 1996 and having a sevenfold custodial centre of #41:
13-17 September 2001. It may in such a circumstance have a degree of
congruity as a spatial overlay.
And with such a device as a contrivance of time, I then conveyed by
dialectic prose especially mapped to those exacting and descriptive
categories of understanding obtained from my paradigm for that specific
day, as my firsthand experience of the Russell St, Melbourne bombing
many years ago:
Whereby I emerged from the Information Technology Division housed within
a windowless office in the interior of the building, thinking that the
shudder was as a plane going through the building. Walking through the
broken glass, I answered an incessant ringing phone in the general
duties police office which had been evacuated of all staff.
The occupational requirement to talk with clarity to someone on the
telephone, whilst appraising the plausible cause:
"Was it rational to conclude that a plane had gone through the building?"
for the unspeakable devastation about me, wasn't a job skill I had
thought I'd ever need. But I must admit that by 11 September 2001, I had
already constructed the first four dimensional planes of my nine stratum
spacial overlay of attributed time and was then focused on the even more
urgent need to conclude my paradigm.
In that telephone conversation, I consoled a father of a policewoman who
had given him an unauthorized access to an operational police number.
This chat occurred whist I was unawares that a policewoman was dying
just out in the street some 50 metres away, which I described in my
poetry as "flesh burning as blazing wheat". And so it was entirely, a
decent thing to do, to spend time consoling a father concerned for the
welfare of his daughter.
Having determined, there was no interference on the telephone line, I
made my way to the D.24 Metropolitan Radio Control Room and took it upon
myself to reactivate all the tripped electricity circuit breakers (they
were always a cause of disruption to our computer terminals) and thereby
restored power to several radio command consoles so they could return to
normal operations at a time some people were still under their desks.
I agree the poetry was an attempt at Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)
deploying a concise and dialectic use of language to describe a domestic
terrorizing event and it served my purpose in a field test of a
meta-physical and theoretical concept as the means for a public
protestation.

Until now there are hundreds of different Gods with hundreds of
different names, and some RECUR. For example there is more than one
Lord Brahma and more then one Lord Krisna.
Those Gods chose the Best of their Men to become their Assistants or
Helpers and some Gods called those Men "Angels".
And then it became a problem, because there were two kinds of Angels.
Angels who were lower than the Gods. And us, who were Higher than the
Gods. That was when we started to call ourselves The BORG.
We were Angels when there was only the One God. And we were the First
Angels before there were any other Gods.
And the Gods we made were lower than us.
We knew the Gods when they were making clay pots to hold water. When we
already had dishwashers and electric guitars.
So these days, with regard to people we can function without any kind of
Leader or Authority figure.
And we are Autonomous.
We are in effect 'God'.
All people are Ruled by The BORG, not just in this Universe.
We are the Collective Conscious and the Omniscient, All Knowing, All
Powerful Entity.
'God' is too small a word to describe us.
We are not one Man.
We are many billion Men.
And each one of us could be "God".
So people always obey us and do what we say. And when we TOLD Earth
people what to do, it was with a view to stopping the suffering there.
And if they had done what we said, then we would have stopped the
suffering. And Earth people could have had a Beautiful World with no
suffering, no old age and no bad health. Then they could have been like
everyone else. Like all other people who live in Beautiful Worlds where
they do not suffer.
But Earth people do not obey God. And they do not listen to God. And so
Earth people still suffer.
If people do not listen to God and do not obey God then on their own
head be it. Everyone else listens to us. Everyone else obeys us."

Libertarianism is an ideology that carries appeal. There are two very
major things that I see wrong with libertarianism.
One is that the government is not the only – and in the West not the
worst – source of wrongdoing. I have heard many horror stories in the
former Soviet Union; however I have also heard horror stories in the
United States. The difference was that while in the Soviet Union the
perpetrator was the government, in America the perpetrators were private
entities such as families, religious organizations, and corrupt networks
in law and medicine.
The government in the West is official, elected, accountable, checked
and balanced. These entities are not. This allows them to get away with
greater abuses than are allowed the government.
Brutality and corruption did not end in Russia when the Soviet Union
failed. Instead the totalitarian government was replaced by the mafia,
which was in many respects worse. Does the fact that something is
unofficial make it any less capable of abuses than an entity that is
official? I think not. I think that any entity is capable of corrupt or
tyrannical practices, and that that is in no way limited to the
government. In fact a case can be made that in the West the governments
are better than private entities of oppression and corruption. The
governments in the West are subject to accountability, check and
balance; which Texas Oil, the mafia, the Jehovah's Witnesses, the
Westboro Baptists and the corrupt doctor and lawyer networks are not.
Problem number two with libertarianism is that, if it is left to its own
logic, it would not provide for the needs of the country. If
responsibility is to be defined as financial self-interest, then
everyone will want to become a yuppie. Nobody will want to become a
teacher, a scientist or the military. This will starve the country of
much of what it needs. People in these professions do not make very much
money; but their contributions to prosperity are vast.
Not everyone involved in libertarianism is a bad person, but many are
very much confused. They focus all their scrutiny on the government
while failing to adequately scrutinize private entities. In fact in many
cases we see precisely the wrong thing being done. Libertarians focus
their scrutiny on entities in the government that try to scrutinize
genuinely corrupt entities. This allows the genuinely corrupt to use the
naivete of libertarians to put them in their service.
Once again, the fact that an entity is unofficial does not make it any
less capable of corruption. There are plenty of non-government entities
that are worse than the governments in the West. The governments are
subject to accountability, check and balance; these entities are not
subject to any such things whatsoever. This allows them to get away with
worse abuses than are allowed the government. And that makes them, not
the government, the primary perpetrator of wrong acts.
If libertarians really do stand for what they claim to stand for, they
would be scrutinizing all sorts of non-government entities capable of
tyranny and corruption. In the West it is these entities, not the
government, that are guilty of greatest wrongs. Governments are capable
of wrongdoing; but so are all sorts of entities that are not the
government. Western democracies are subject to check and balances.
Entities such as Jehovah's Witnesses are not subject to any such thing.
This means that these entities can – and do – get away with greater
abuses than are allowed the government."

The fall of the Roman Empire has been blamed by Christian theologians on
"decadence" and "sin." In fact there was one sin that caused the fall of
the Roman Empire, and it is the same sin as one that is responsible for
all major failures in history.
That sin is stupidity.
In 20AD, a Roman inventor Hero of Alexandria invented the steam engine.
The Romans thought that it was uneconomical, as the slave labor was
cheap and abundant enough for them. It was of course the institution of
slavery, in which lived three quarters of the population, that was the
true ongoing source of hate and resentment, not only against Roman
Empire, but also against "the world." And by making this boneheaded
decision, not only did Romans deny themselves the benefit of scientific
and technological progress that could have given them everything from
skyscrapers to computers to cars to military machines that would have
made mincemeat of any invading army, but they also ensured that the hate
against the Roman Empire grew as slavery remained the basis of Roman
economy and the condition of the bulk of its population.
Of course the same scoundrels and idiots who caused this grand failure
did everything that they could to blame this failure on everything and
everyone other than themselves. They blamed it on women, they blamed it
on "humanity," they blamed it on "decadence," they blamed it on
"paganism" when Roman Empire was conquered two hundred years after it
had Christianized its population. But no: None of this was the true
cause of the failure of Rome. The true cause of the failure of Rome was
short-sightedness and stupidity. The last of which has always been the
true reason for every failure in history of humankind.
Right now we are seeing the same people who have caused the present
planetary catastrophe blaming the problem on everyone other than
themselves. They blame it on liberals, they blame it on feminists, they
blame it on Armageddon, they blame it on New World Order conspiracy
theories, they blame it on "humanity" or on "sinners" (meaning of course
everyone who does not tow the party line that tells people such things).
In fact, the scientists and the liberals, have been telling for 30 years
what was going on and what it was going to lead to. The people who are
responsible for this catastrophe are the people who did not listen to
reason and especially those who have lied, and continue to lie, to claim
either that nothing is happening or that what is happening is other than
what it is or caused by other things than what it is caused by.
Christianity had capitalized on the real reason for hatred against the
world at the time - the fact that at the time three quarters of the
population of Roman Empire were slaves - and directed it against all
things non-Christian. They continue to claim that "decadence" was the
Romans' undoing, when Roman Empire was sacked two centuries after its
Christianization. Stupidity and delusion feed into one another to hide
the true reasons for things and to assign for things false effects and
false causes. The delusion then becomes necessarily hateful of mind -
because mind is something that by its own nature seeks truth and is
therefore a tool of battling against delusion. And what can be more
dangerous to pushers of delusion and dogma than real intelligence.
The people who are into the New World Order nonsense are of course the
same people who three decades earlier were shouting such things as
"money talks, bulls**t walks" and "America: love it or leave it." And
now they are all getting paranoid about Jewish bankers and international
corporations and the Chinese and people in the government who are not
their puppets. So let me get this straight. You destroy environment, you
destroy academia, you destroy education, you destroy media, you destroy
unions, you destroy government, you destroy humanitarianism, you destroy
literature and arts and social activism, you destroy every culture that
isn't your own, you leave as the only thing in town the money game, and
now you are screaming bloody murder because you've been bested even at
your own money game by people whom you wanted to wipe off the face of
the earth? And now - what, the world is evil? Well bucko, you've had a
huge role in making the world as it is now, and if you don't like it
then you have only yourselves to blame.
The fact is, the world would be a lot better now if American and
Australian right-wingers had nothing to do with it. The world would by
now be running on cheap, abundant clean energy and water gained through
processes that destroy nothing that can't be replaced and put out into
environment nothing harmful. The American treasury would be solvent and
in shape to handle crises as they arise. The people would be much more
educated, much more knowledgeable, and thus much more intelligent and
responsible citizens less likely to listen to conmen.
By now there would be real effective cures for diseases that are
currently incurable and whose present treatments are dangerous and
harmful. The areas that are now barren desert would support forests to
absorb CO2 and farmland to feed people all over the world. Violence
against women and children would be a thing of the past, as would
overpopulation and genocide. There would be convenient, non-polluting
public transportation that would cut commute times by over two thirds
and save people the experience of breathing exhaust fumes for three
hours a day. Cultural *MASTERPIECES*, beautiful architecture,
inventions, scientific learning, would abound and enrich people's
existence. People would be terraforming Mars and Venus to reduce
population burden on the Earth and give people new places to go.
Instead, the politics and economics of the First World got hijacked in
1980s and then again in 2000s by boneheads, and we are now living with
predictable and inevitable results.
The religious are right about one thing: Sin is behind the current state
of affairs. But it is not the sin that they claim. The sin of
conmanship; the sin of aggressive ignorance; the sin of
short-sightedness and stupidity; and the sin of misrepresenting effects
and causes of things, are reason for troubles of these times. The
scientists knew what was coming, and the *LIBERAL* influence in America
were telling people what was going to happen. And it was the
right-wingers that not only kept people from seeing the truth, but are
working hard to keep people from seeing the truth even now.
It is time that the rightwing be seen for what it is, what it has done,
and what it is doing to the world and to America. And it is time that it
lose all credibility and all power that it has gained through fraud and
corruption and used and continues to use for terrible wrongdoing. The

I had the privilege of working with both highly energetic, effective and
efficient "people's guy" managers and supremely incompetent and
misdirected individuals. So, here is a short list of things I want to
remind myself to follow when I become a manager (or the people's guy).
As usual, this is always a WIP and will evolve as per the lessons I

#9 - Anger solves nothing. Use aggression only when absolutely
necessary. I have seen manager's who never lost their cool even in the
face of armageddon (mad props to Kedar and Urmi!).
#10 - Always remember : superiority complex destroys peer respect and
stems disrespect for you in your subordinates (I hate this word).
#11 - Don't push your team so much that they are not having time for
their family and friends. Read point 6.
#12 - Keep an open mind and welcome new ideas.

#14 - Don't talk for the sake of talking.
#15 - Don't make decisions from 50000 feet. Understand ground realities.
#16 - Resolve conflicts,don't fuel them by being the person on points 1

#18 - Pay attention to your team. Have good eyes and good ears.
#19 - Communicate verbally and face to face. Voice is a much much better
medium for communication than emails. If you are using too many emails

#21 - Mind your own business. Be mindful.
#22 - Take your team out and mingle with them. You are *actually* going
to spend the better half of your life with them.
#23 - Plan realistic deadlines and expectations.Nothing is more
infuriating and annoying than to expect something that defies the laws
of logic, reason and compromises on the quality of deliverable(s).
#24 - Value the work of your team. If you ignore their contribution,
they will ignore you all together.
#25 - Don't spoil weekends of your team. If unavoidable, ensure they are
being rewarded/compensated accordingly.
#26 - Don't make your team feel their deliverable(s) are a "Thankless job".
#27 - Your team is too smart to see through the thin veil of divide and
rule policy. Don't do it at the first place.
#28 - Lead by Example. If you can't do a task in the first place given
the situation and allotted time, don't expect your team to do it in
first place. Put them in your shoes, keep points 1,2,6 and 23 in mind.
#29 - If there is one thing I absolutely hate, is addressing "Track
changes" and "comments" in the reports. That's bad management overall
and reeks of incompetence and lack of communication. Also, you
automatically become the antithesis of point 1 and 2 if you do it. It
adds one more one more loop to the already tedious, time challenged and
hopelessly broken process of office review everywhere. Reconnect with
your team and get on the same page instead of using "Track Changes" and
"comments". On a personal note, I really think there is a special place
in hell for people who use this.

In American politics we see that and more. Jimmy Carter was a good man

nothing to do with it; his ideas and his policies did.
Is the character of the leader definitive of the path that the country
takes? From what I have seen, it does not. There are people with
excellent character who make bad leaders, and there are people with good
character who make terrible leaders. Jimmy Carter was a much better man
than Bill Clinton. But under Clinton America prospered, whereas under
Carter it did not.
I do not see why the success of a leader is in any way dependent on his
character. Some people with good character will be good leaders, and
some people with good character will not. Same is the case with people
with bad character, whether they be Bill Clinton or Mobutu Sese-Seko.
Does character determine one's worth as a leader? I think that it can
work out in any number of ways. Sometimes the character will result in
rightful actions. Sometimes it will not result in a rightful action.
Respect by all means people with character; but do not think that it is
the only thing that shapes the reality of their actions."
