I watched "The Search For One Eye Jimmy" last night on Amazon Prime and thoroughly enjoyed it. I haven't laughed so much in a long time. And it was shot in Red Hook, Brooklyn, near my old neighborhood of Bay Ridge.

A stellar cast and a breezy style were just what I needed in these trying times. There's even a little improvised Doo-Wop in it.

I'm curious what others think of it. The reviews were not as good as I expected.

But he's supposed to be bad in this movie, so I guess that makes him good.

I also thought he was pretty good as that lawyer with the feet problem
in that mini-series about a young man that stole his father's cab, was
arrested and convicted of murdering a young woman, and ended up in , I
think, in Rikers.

He's generally good, sometimes not so good. I'm still deciding what I
think of his role in "The Great Lebowski." I heard a while back the
Coens were thinking about doing a movie about the character.,

It can't be a new movie; Anne Meara died 5 years ago.

So it's got Tony Sirico and Aida Turturro in it 5 years before they
starred in "The Sopranos." Hmm!

Netflix has a 50-minute Robert Johnson documentary called DEVIL AT THE CROSSROADS that I found highly watchable.

In watched it. I didn't laugh that much, but I smiled a lot. Buscemi,
as always, manages to steal the scenes he's in. Three stars. Thanks.
