Post by Steven DouglasPost by JTEM is MagicPost by Steven DouglasDo you think the world would be a better place without
the Bible? Before you answer, keep in mind that the old
USSR rid the Bible from their society. Do you know how
many of its own citizens were murdered by that atheistic
government during its relatively brief history?
I think you've got it backwards.
Actually, I was hoping you'd answer my question about whether
or not you think the world would be a better place without the
Bible?
Since he won't answer the question, I will give my answer for you.
I think the world would be a FAR BETTER PLACE without the Bible.
Is there any part of the above statement that you do not understand?
Post by Steven DouglasPost by JTEM is MagicThe bible is a creation of the world, a reflection there of. The world
made the bible.
No, there's something far more powerful about the Bible
than that it's just another book.
Inanimate objects do not have any power Steven.
But you can relinquished your power to them. Without
you giving the Bible it's 'power' it would have no intrinsic
value.
Post by Steven DouglasWhat other book has you
so fascinated that you've spent hours researching it so
you could discuss it on usenet?
Needing to research a Book that long indicates that
it is probably bullshit. It doesn't take that much time
to understand a book. I can absorb all the truth in
a math or computer science book within a matter
of days. Why do you think the Bible needs all the
hoards of masses working on it's true meaning?
The short answer is probably because it has none.
Also, I think a wise man would invest as much time needed
to educate themselves on the workings of the people
who want to harm them. That is the best way to take
down an enemy, by knowing what they have learned.
