Post by Bill BI consider "All My Love Belongs To You" as probably the greatest girl group record and rate it a nine. To see so many place it last is discouraging to say the least.

The lead vocal is discordant with the low notes. And this is one of those
nominations which is not suited to quick sampling, not allowing a record to grow
on the listener.
The flip, "Talk About Him, Girlie", would likely have done better here:
Its *relatively* simple and repetitive nature means it would have directly
competed with "The Dummy" - with a fair chance of beating it.
btw, the instrumental backing on their early Baton records is notable.
The b-side of Lonely Nights, "Oo-Wee" has the instrumentation sharing the
limelight with the vocals:
BONUS - a guaranteed quarter-finalist, if it were not for a bias in this
electorate towards a 'deep black' dare I say 'harlem' sound, with soloists (eg
Lou Mac) or dominating leads, generally preferred over group doo-wop. Like the
Cardinals' "Miserlou", this Leach side could, unfortunately, pass as a 'white'
record.
