Aust and Britsih Mdeia (and rsc posters) often talk about the
SL wickets being flat tracks with no bounce.
So where are they ?
so far 5 ODI's were played in 3 major locations.
All of them have shown bounce and Aust pace bowlers did well.
Even SL medium pacers did well compared to spinners.
So why are all wickets in SL labelled as flat tracks

only one reaosn - have an excuse when you don't do well.
not a bad strategy

Exported to New Zealand for their home series against RSA. Look up some of
the reports on the recently concluded odo series.

Learn to pay attention. Larry had posted an article here some weeks back
that suggested that the Aussies are carrying their own bouncy pitches with
them.

Always works. After all, one needs to offer excuses only when one doesn't
do well. I haven't come across anyone whingeing after winning.

Wasn't Imran supposed to have whinged about the home umpiring after winning
a series at home?

I believe Ponting commented on that ridiculous PE pitch after beating ENG in
the CWC. In fact, he often comments on substandard pitches even if he wins.
Probably figuring he'll have more credibility and might get something done
if he comments as winning rather than losing captain.

More likely he's still trying to catch up the ground he lost when moaning
about losing to Sri Lanka at the last ICC No Champions Trophy.

Why not wait until the test series. OD pitches and test pitches are
completely different animals.
