1) These books are to borrow.
2) These books are to be borrowed.
3) These books are for borrowing.

4) This device is to keep in the kitchen.
5) This device is to be kept in the kitchen.
6) This device is for keeping in the kitchen.

Which are grammatical and make sense?
Which are idiomatic?

Do '4', '5' and '6' imply that it is obligatory to keep the device in
the kitchen?

Gratefully,
Navi

(5) doesn't imply it, it says it. I don't know what (4) and (6) do.
