I just realized that ALL pressure is on Liverpool now for the first time in
decades. This is Liverpool's game to lose.

Not quite. We only have to go back 4 years to when LFC were fighting for the title and MU were languishing mid-table with just Europa League qualification to play for.

This is Liverpool's game to lose.
Indeed. Dropping points at home to a mid-table team would be a setback.

Not the same. The expectations were still United-esque back then.

It would be like having dropped points to Liverpool most the 10s seasons.

Imagine the complete failure if Liverpool doesn't win!

Again, not quite. When they met at OT in March 2014, United were already 7th or 8th in the league. Moyes was fired less than a month later. Any expectations were dead and buried by then. Probably more than today because it was much later in the season.

Haha, nice try again. Being 1 or 2 points off first hardly qualifies as complete failure. It would merely be a setback, as mentioned earlier.

As it turns out, apocalypse didn't befall Liverpool's today, and Man Utd's Champions League final and World Cup final for this season rolled into one ended in predictable defeat.

How strong must the first XI be when you start with Martial, Mata,
Pogba and Fellaini on the bench? As it turns out, not very. 36%
possession, 6-36 attempts (2-11 on target), 2-12 corners.

What is the target for Utd in the league now? Title is long gone, and
CL is 11 points away.

Season target achieved in December! Something other clubs can only dream of.

Best of the Rest! Along with Everton and LCFC (and likes of Wolves)...

Dejan Lovren's middle name is pressure, there is nothing he can't handle.

That's why I live for a day when he wins a trophy with Liverpool,
that will be a day to remember.

I hope they won't sell him soon.

Selected 538 probabilities changes last weekend:
Champions, Liverpool 23% to 35%
CL qualification, Man Utd 7% to 6%

It's going to be very very depressing when Liverpool finish with 90+ points and possibly the best EPL defense ever and STILL don't win the league :(.
