She was wearing a tee shirt that says "Breaking news Nobody Cares" and I was telling her about this PBS show:

https://www.pbs.org/video/the-cannabis-question-82boad/

And she said she was going watch it as soon as she goes home!

And she left the Schnucks store without her credit card and a lady from Schnucks came running out after because she forgot her credit card! :-)

I LOVE the people I meet at Schnucks! :-)

Saying anything to get away from you, you probably creeped her out.

Smoking pot messes with one's memory; she's probably already a pot smoker.

You love anyone who will talk with you, even if it's just for a minute or two.
A wonderfully positive attitude. You could learn a thing or two from
John.

Sure, a "positive attitude." He was trying to hit on her, and she probably had
absolutely no interest in talking with the creep. Next question is why he even
thought she'd be interested in that program? I'm sure she rushed home to
watch that PBS show.

Gee, because she was wearing a t-shirt that says "BREAKING NEWS: Nobody
Cares". She probably bought it on Amazon. That show aired in
September. Unless she's got the PBS streaming app, I seriously doubt
she could have watched it as soon as she got home. She was just making
excuses to get away from him. Regardless of how I feel on the subject
of cannabis, if some guy in a grocery store started talking to me about
it out of the blue I'd walk away as quickly as possible. Most women I
know would, too.

She was one person behind me in the Checkered queue, I never use the automated thing anymore, I prefer to use the checkers which will give people A JOB! Or as I said walking past a tall union worker looking guy once, "Computers have jobs; people need jobs."

From "Google News Service":

“Serial Masturbator attacked woman after she asked him to stop pleasuring himself on
the street, prosecutors say

Prosecutors say a man attacked a woman who asked him to stop pleasuring himself on the street
as she walked her dog. It happened around 11:40 a.m. Wednesday, October 6, according to prosecutors.

“I saw a pregnant woman walking towards him and warned her,” the victim wrote on a neighborhood
message board. “That’s when he proceeded to run at me with a closed fist and punched me in the
head and I got knocked to the ground while still holding on to my dog.”

Assistant State’s Attorney John Smith said a "John Kuthe" [positive ID pending], punched the woman repeatedly
and continued to punch her after she was on the ground. Bystanders intervened, and Kuthe ran away, he said.

The woman showed the police a picture she took of the man, and cops located Kuthe nearby.
He punched one officer in the face and tried to bite another cop’s hand, according to Smith.

“I am very lucky it wasn’t much worse,” the woman said in her post. “Thank you to all my lovely neighbors!”

In June, Kuthe was charged with two counts of misdemeanor battery serial masturbation. A warrant was
issued after he failed to show up for court on September 16, records show.

He is now charged with felony counts of aggravated battery of a police officer, resisting police, and
aggravated assault of a police officer along with misdemeanor charges of battery and public serial
masturbation indecency for this case.

Judge Mary Markham set bail at $5,000 on the new charges and $3,000 for the pending misdemeanor.

A public defender said Kuthe is an unemployed former nurse, listing his current profession as “Serial
Masturbator” He lists a hippie vegan food pantry, “Behind the Red Door”, as his home address on court records…”

I LOVE the people I meet at Schnucks! :-)
Jill
She was one person behind me in the Checkered queue, I never use the automated thing anymore, I prefer to use the checkers which will give people A JOB! Or as I said walking past a tall union worker looking guy once, "Computers have jobs; people need jobs."

Nope, you don't HAVE a job...

A job means that you get yer ass outta bed, get ready and GO
TO someplace to WORK where you get PAID to do the WORK...

You've not done that for a LONG time now...you loaf around, masterbate, noodle
around with your "chores" and "home improvement" stuff...PIDDLING...!!!

You have a "JOB" like I'm Japanese, IOW - NOT...!!!

You'll NEVER get another gig in health care, that is a GUARANTEED...

It's not like they don't beep incessantly until you take them out
and before it even registers on the cash register. You can't
checkout without removing it - at least at my normal stores.

It's a feature.

This woman did it purposely so she could get an escort. That's a
feature, too.

It's not like they don't beep incessantly until you take them out
and before it even registers on the cash register. You can't
checkout without removing it - at least at my normal stores.
It's a feature.
Around here those card readers beep and squawk until you remove
the card.
The cashier can't finish the transaction until the card is removed
at our stores.

And she said she was going watch it as soon as she goes home!
And she left the Schnucks store without her credit card and a lady from Schnucks came running out after because she forgot her credit card! :-)
I LOVE the people I meet at Schnucks! :-)
Did you regale them with tales of your pet gerbil, "Liberace"...???

Two responses to the same post, 5-1/2 hours apart, and you replied as if
it was one and you want to care for children?  That's some scary shit,

Definitely not me. I know the character map code to use a proper left

say this about Greg.

There's no 'syndrome' there. But there's a whole LOT worse things to suffer
from; 'Krazy Kuthe' is or how about 'Bonkers Bruce' come readily to mind.

Lol... a "consolation" of a sort, I guess... like being the
winner on "The $1.98 Beauty Show"...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_$1.98_Beauty_Show

"The $1.98 Beauty Show is an American game show that aired in
syndication from September 1978 to September 1980.

Hosted by Rip Taylor, the series is a parody of beauty contests, and featured six female
contestants (including the occasional overweight ones, as well as celebrities like Sandra
Bernhard and on at least one occasion a male dressed in drag) competing for the
title of "$1.98 Beauty Queen"...

At the end of each show, Taylor announces the "$1.98 Beauty of The Week." That
contestant is presented with a tacky plastic crown, rotten vegetables as a bouquet,
and the titular cash prize of $1.98, which Taylor dispenses from a coin holder on his belt... "
