Discussion:
How hard would it be to name a hundred functional things Android apps do that iOS apps just can't do?

The canonical iOS apologist, nospam, when confronted with the fact that
iOS users *just give up* all the time ... recently posted that he can do
what Android users do all the time (saying Android users don't know how to
do it on iOS).

I responded I could almost certainly name a hundred functional things
Android users can do with their apps that iOS users just can't do (mainly
because iOS is a primitive restrictive operating system).

Taking jailbreaking/rooting and trademark bs out of the picture...

How hard do you think it would it be to name a hundred functional things
Android apps already do that iOS apps still just can't do?

To "just give up" would be serveral steps ahead of your reaction when faced
with this task:

* Record screen AND voice AND device sounds without jail breaking.
Also record desktop screen and sound with the time coordinated.

Instead of JUST giving up, you lied about being able to do it, lied about
what the task even was, and cried about the task... even during the last few
days. You also focused on emotion of over reason time and time again...
basically having a public break down.

Right: to even do the first line of the task you had to use a rooted Android
device.

It was trivial for me to find a task Android cannot do that iOS can. And
sure, it is easy to find them the other direction, too.

The difference is I am open about that. You feel the need to lie.

You Snit are incomprehensibly stupid.

I have never in my life met someone as utterly incomprehensibly stupid as
you are. Never. You are even dumber than Jolly Roger and Lewis! And that's
pretty damn dumb. Trust me. I thought NOBODY could prove themselves to be
as dumb as they are - but you have trolled that idiocy 138 times and you
haven't googled ONCE to see that Android screen recording with external and

You Snit are incomprehensibly stupid.

No wonder you need your sig to tell the world to STOP calling you an utter
moron. Everything you write SCREAMS out that you're an utter imbecile!

I gave up proving to you that Android has had screen recording *native* for
*years* after you posted that made up accusation at least 100 times (you're

Read this you utter moron.

See: all emotion based from you AND dishonest. Keep in mind the full task...
the one you keep running from:

* Record screen AND voice AND device sounds without jail breaking.
Also record desktop screen and sound with the time coordinated.

Even with JUST the first line, you ended up using a rooted device to do it.

And you CANNOT do the full task. The second line is beyond you. Likely
beyond Android.

Look below were you just freak out with an emotion tantrum.

Wow! It says Android prevents even the FIRST line, you have to use extra

Android is behind iOS in this area.

Amazing... the list of videos that tell you Android is behind iOS, according

Fair enough -- I am not the first to find this weakness of Android... it is
an "endless" list of others who have.

And you still do not really understand it. That is actually quite funny...

Your tantrum continues... but thanks for going out of your way to show how
poorly Android handles a task that is simple on iOS:

Snit,
Far worse than Jolly Roger (who is just stupid). *You're a coward.*
And Snit - you're a *vicious coward* at that.

You attempt to endlessly pummel someone whom you feel is 'weaker' than you.

Even though I was just ignoring your 80 posts on your fabricated WiFi
signal strength capabilities of iOS, the illuminating fact is that when you
*thought* I was down on the ground and defenseless, you *gleefully*
reported to Davoud that you were kicking me and pummeling me into the
ground, starting with your idiotic video of self-fabricated iOS
functionality.

Likewise, as I ignored your 159 posts (and counting) of completely
fabricated Android inability to record screen video with audio, you are so
viscously happy to have finally unearthed (but only in your mind)
"something" (anything) that iOS could do that Android didn't already do.

It's not so much that you're always wrong, as most iOS apologists (like
Lewis, for example) are almost always wrong because they are too
emotionally involved in their choice of platforms.

And it's not so much that you troll incorrect fabrications, as other iOS
apologists such as nospam incessantly do.

No. What's *different* about you is the *viscous* nature of your very
being, in that you show the narcissistic tendency to truly want to *hurt*
someone who says something that you don't like.

So you incessantly repeat all your assesrtions, simply when you perceive
that the person you are attacking isn't able to defend himself.

Meanwhile, while I was just laughing at you for all those 159+80=249 posts,
at this point, I'm truly scared of you.

You are a vicious coward.

This is the 165th time you've endlessly trolled your iOS apologist
fabrication.

While all iOS apologists troll, most (like nospam, Jolly Roger, Lewis,
etc.) have the sense to stop after they made their point (and particulary
when they think they have a valid point).

What's *different* about you is the endlessly *vicious* nature of your very
being, in that you show the endlessly narcissistic tendency to truly want
to endlessly *hurt* someone who simply says something truthful about iOS
that you just don't like (since facts are anathema to purely emotional
cowards like you are).

To wit, you trolled this narcissistically hateful video over 80 times with
a vengeance - and when Davoud asked you to stop after about 50 posts, you
told him you would *never stop* because you (heh heh heh) finally had me
backed into a corner of silence. http://youtu.be/7QaABa6DFIo

In effect, you *thought* you that you had me down and out so you were
simply trying to endlessly kick me to death.

Your very words tell everyone you are an endlessly vicious person.

In fact, you would have gone on forever had I not stopped you with this:

This is the 167th time you've endlessly trolled your iOS apologist
fabrication.

Your very words tell everyone you are a brutally vicious person.
Lord help someone whenever you, perchance, actually are factually correct!

In fact, you would have gone on forever had I not stopped you with this:
<http://wetakepic.com/images/2017/10/11/wifi_sweetspots.jpg>

At first, since all your claims arise out of sheer ignorance, I thought you
were just another iOS apologist idiot (for example, Jolly Roger still
doesn't seem to know the difference between a megabyte and a decibel), but
now I'm wiser and far more scared of you - because your own statements to
Davoud and words used in your video show you're far more than just stupid.

You, Snit, are an endlessly vicious and ever dangerous hate-filled coward.

Nope. Because I noted how YOU showed Android to be behind iOS. Here, my

I focus almost fully on the tech side of things... and use YOUR sources. In

As I have noted, while I tend to focus on tech, you focus a lot on your
feelings. You are ruled by emotion. So be it.

You are the one name calling and crying... I am merely answering a tech

what features it has that Android does not. So I answered.

And you deemed that "vicious". You cried over it... you through a public
tantrum. You even self-nuked and went out of your way to show how the
evidence against Android on just PART of the feature I talked about was
"endless".

And you took it personally. You took my speaking of iOS and Android as a
personal attack.

Shows how biased and emotional you are.

What's *different* about you, Snit, is the *vicious* nature of your very
being,
Why do you think my answering your question about what iOS can do that
Android cannot is somehow "vicious"? It is not as if you did not back me!
You showed these videos:

http://youtu.be/cywLOctCrCs
http://youtu.be/bYDvgoYSVSU
http://youtu.be/G0sKTWfHHnk
http://youtu.be/TfvtREsCQDY

You showed that for Android to be able to even do PART of what I showed iOS
doing takes additional hardware. And you admitted that list of such videos
"goes on forever".

So we agree: at least with this feature (or set of features), iOS is far
ahead of Android. OK. Does not mean iOS is the best choice for everyone, nor
is it in any way a denial that Android *also* can do things iOS cannot. And
I think we agree on that, too.

Nothing vicious about my noting we agree iOS and Android can each do things
the other cannot.

But you take it as a personal attack because of your preference for Android
and your irrational attachment to it. So be it. That is on you... not me.

bogus list.
Notice there are 100 items on that list, where the top 20 are in the video.
Are you trying to say all 20 in the video and the 100 in the list are
bogus?

You couldn't even have *read* them all and comprehended them in the time it
took from when I posted that (which I knew all along) and when you
responded.

You just make this stuff up.
I never do.
I knew about the list before I posted the question.
several android phones do not have a replaceable battery or removable
storage.
Mine has both.
That's the point.
It's my choice. Not Steve Job's choice.
others are just stupid, like run ubuntu, or not needed, such as running
maintenance apps such as ccleaner.
I agree with you on this.
How many are "just stupid" though?
Let's say 10% of the items are just stupid.
some are completely wrong, such as having multiple gmail accounts,
something the very first iphone could do back in 2007, or be able to
download any files or voice actions for home automation.
Let's say 10% of the items are just plain wrong.
some *only* an iphone can do, such as face unlock (what exists on
android is trivially spoofed).
Let's be super charitable and claim the iPhone can do 10% of the stuff.
you also continue to ignore the numerous things ios can do that android
can't.
Name a single app functionality on iOS (not your name-brand trademark crap
which you constantly try to foist on iOS gullibles) that isn't already on
Android all by its itty bitty self.

Remember - we're talking app functionality - with the mobile device all by
its itty bitty self (not needing an entire additional massive-in-comparison
computer with hundreds of megabytes of bloatware, for example, just to work
properly).
nothing is perfect. no device will do everything.
The list shows 100 functioanlities on Android that aren't on iOS.
If we cut that list in half with respect to your objections, that leaves 50
right off the bat - and that's just our starting point.

Meanwhile, there are zero app functionalities on iOS (all by its itty bitty
self) that aren't already on Android.

Those facts tell us everything we need to know about WHY people buy each
platform - where nobody doubts that iOS is a super successful platform too.

It's just that the people buy different things, where, on iOS, it's not
real-world functionality - it's something else altogether.
pick the best tool for the job.
I agree.

If you want pretty colors and fantastic marketing - pick iOS.
If you want basic colors and fantastic functionality - pick Android.

You think I don't know what you've named?

Every one was simply a brand name for functionality, most of which Apple
*purchased* from outside sources, all of which Android has.

Want me to *remind* you of your own iOS apologists' claims?

HINT: Do electronic payment & ad-hoc file transfer services ring a bell?
(Only you used the trademark names - which is meaningless in terms of
functionality.)

Remember ... I have a capacity for detail ... where ... I know you do too
... so I know you know *everything* I'm saying ... where you still say it
(as did James Comey to Congress) knowing full well you were playing to the
iOS gullibles who don't have any capacity for accurate detail.

The reason you won't make those same claims again is that we conclusively
proved every single one of them wrong.

To wit:
* There are scores of app functionalities on Android not on iOS.
* There is zero app functionality on iOS not already on Android.

That's a fact.

Why not talk about the things iOS does that Android cannot.
This thread is all about you:
* Why do iOS apologists incessantly fabricate fictional iOS functionality?
* <https://groups.google.com/forum/#!msg/misc.phone.mobile.iphone/K_yBNZiPFYo/yekUPvIXAwAJ>

For example:
* It's a fact iOS devices can't even graph Wi-Fi signal strength over time
* <https://groups.google.com/d/msg/misc.phone.mobile.iphone/PZuec56EWB0/3PHWnNWnAQAJ>

It's a fact, there is zero app functionality on iOS not already on Android.
* Is there a single bit of functionality on iOS that isn't already on
Android?
* <https://groups.google.com/d/msg/misc.phone.mobile.iphone/trNDEOFg-A4/7oSFPv2CBwAJ>

If there was a single app functionality that iOS apps could do on an iOS
mobile device (all by its itty bitty self), then someone would have been
able to name one that we could easily agree upon.

The only things the iOS apologists can name are brand names and trademarks
for common-to-both functionality such as electronic payment and ad-hoc file
transfer services (neither of which fits the question anyway because
they're not what the device can do all by its itty bitty self).

There's no app functionality on iOS not already on Android. Zero.

The reasons this happens is clear:
a. The hardware is about the same
b. Apple severely constrains what the apps can do
c. Google does not

The sad fact remains:
* There are more than a few score app functionalities on Android not on iOS
* There is zero app functionality presented for iOS not already on Android

It's not "my" list - it's a list of the 100 things that the guy says
Android does that iOS can't do (as of iOS 7 days, when it was published).

I can easily name a score of things I do all the time on Android that iOS
apps just can't do (e.g., automatic call recording for just one).

But there are so many things that iOS can't do that it's basically non
functional compared to Android (and you know this).

For example, you can't even load any app launcher you want for heaven's
sake. That alone makes the entire iOS user interface downright primitive.

It was great a decade ago - but the whole iOS desktop is stuck mired in
Steve Jobs' time warp.

Meanwhile, on Android, I can organize my desktop with icons on any spacing,
on any grid, with any icons, with any names, with any shape, in multiple
places, etc.

You can't.
I only speak fact.

C'mon nospam.
That tired old line of yours only works on the iOS gullibes.

You know that iOS users, without resorting to jailbreaking, are forced to
"just give up" constantly.

The iOS owners can't do even the simplest of basic tasks that Android users
just do such as watch videos from their hard drive directly connected to
their mobile device via a simple $3 OTG cable.

You know iOS owners *just give up* when they want to switch launchers
(which I do all the time). You know iOS owners *just give up* on app
integration (e.g., you want to send a text message with a picture from
"any" other app). You know iOS owners *just give up* when they wish to set
the default app for any desired of action. You know iOS owners *just give
up* if they want an iOS mobile device with a removable battery. You know
iOS owners *just give up* if they want an iOS mobile device with an
internal storage card. You know iOS owners *just give up* if they want an
iOS mobile device with integral internal dual SIM cards. You know iOS
owners *just give up* if they want *always on* display. You know iOS
owners *just give up* when they want NFC capabilities. You know iOS owners
*just give up* if they want HD resolution (without letterboxing). You know
iOS owners *just give up* when they want any desired widgets (e.g., stocks
on the lock screen). You know iOS owners *just give up* when they want
dual user accounts on their mobile device (e.g., work & personal). You
know iOS owners *just give up* when they want to change the software
keyboard to any one they want (e.g., Swype). You know iOS owners *just
give up* if they want USB OTG (aka USB host) to connect a USB hard drive or
dongle or DSLR camera. You know iOS owners *just give up* when wanting to
use game emulators such as Nintendo, Playstation, Sega Genesis games. You
know iOS owners *just give up* when they just want to flash a custom ROM
without needing root (which some Android phones do). You know iOS owners
*just give up* when you want to listen to the real broadcast radio waves.
You know iOS owners *just give up* when you want to change icon packs
system wide (thousands of packs are available). You know iOS owners *just
give up* when you simply want to hide any system installed bloatware
anywhere you want. You know iOS owners *just give up* when you simply want
home-device voice control on your mobile device (e.g., turn on lights).
You know iOS owners *just give up* if they want a simple instant grace
period (15 minutes) on any app without even asking for a refund. You know
iOS owners *just give up* if they want it to be always listening for
commands. You know iOS owners *just give up* if they want to use a
bluetooth mouse. You know iOS owners *just give up* when they wish to use
floating window apps for desktop-like multitasking.

And the list goes on (that's just the first 20 of a hundred things listed).

You'd be a great poker player, with all that bluffing.
Android owners aren't afraid to show their cards.

You know that list was from *years* ago ... so iOS may have a few of the
items now - but not many since iOS users *just give up* on functionality.

You know ...
Android owners can load any modern launcher where iOS users *just give up*.

Android owners can connect a USB hard drive, dongle, or DSLR camera (e.g.,
to watch videos directly) via a simple cheap OTG cable where iOS users
*just give up*.

Android owners enjoy app integration (e.g., they can send a text message
with a picture from "any" other app) where iOS users *just give up*.
Android owners set the default app for any desired action while iOS users
*just give up*.

Android owners can choose a device with a removable battery, or with an
internal storage card, with dual internal SIM cards, or NFC capabilities,
or broadcast radio receivers, or the ability to attach a bluetooth mouse,
while iOS owners *just give up*.

Android users can set an *always on* display while iOS users *just give
up*.

Android owners can have HD resolution (without letterboxing) while iOS
users *just give up*.

Android owners can set up any desired widget (e.g., stocks on the lock
screen) while iOS users *just give up*.

Android users can set up multiple accounts (e.g., work & personal), while
iOS users *just give up*.

Android users can change the software keyboard any time they want (e.g.,
Swype) while iOS users *just give up*.

Android users can run game emulators such as Nintendo, Playstation, Sega
Genesis games while iOS users *just give up*.

Some Android users can flash a custom ROM without root while all iOS owners
*just give up*.

Android owners can change icon packs system wide (thousands are available)
while iOS users *just give up*.

Android owners can easily hide any system installed bloatware they want
while iOS owners *just give up*.

Android owners get a an instant grace period (15 minutes) on any app
without even asking for a refund while iOS owners *just pay up*

Android owners can use floating-window apps for desktop-like multitasking
while iOS users *just give up*.

And that is just a tiny sample of what can be done on Android that can't be
done on iOS.

Here's the list, from *years* ago, from:
http://thedroideffect.com/100-things-iphone-5s-still-cant-do-android-can/

Facts are facts.
iOS is a primitive and limited operating system.

That's just a basic fact you don't like.

Even by your own count, that leaves 99 things that Android did *years* ago
that iOS still can't do today.

Worse, while both iOS and Android have moved forward since that list was
created, the list is still about 100 things that Android does that iOS
can't hope to do.

The fact is that iOS hasn't made *any* functional progress whatsoever.

In fact, you can't even *name* the top functionality that you *claim* iOS
has that you claim Android doesn't have.

And yet, I have no problem listing the number one functionality that
Android has that iOS can't hope to have, which is the ability to organize
the desktop the way the user wants to - any grid - any size - any icon -
any name - any shape - any way they want.

On iOS, the users *just give up*.

it's completely fabricated bullshit.
Of course it is... but Harry is still crying over how he spent HUNDREDS of
posts talking about what Android could NOT do without added hardware (and
even then not the full task discussed).

Then why can't anyone on iOS simply organize their desktop any way they
like, which is something *every* other platform easily does?

Why can't iOS users do the *simplest* of things that all other operating
systems have no problems with, like printing the list of installed apps to
an editable text file (which on iOS - requires an entire desktop plus
hundreds of megabytes of bloatware to perform).

Why can't iOS users just hook up a USB/OTG cable to utilize files from
their terabyte hard drives like every other operating system can do?

Why can't iOS users load any apps they want from anywhere they want like
every other decent operating system allows?

The fact is that you simply don't like the truth.

The truth is that there is absolutely zero functionality on iOS that isn't
already on Android and yet, I can easily name a score of important
functionaloity that I do on Android that is impossible to do on iOS?

HINT: Try to debug your wifi or cellular some day using iOS.
Answer: All iOS users *just give up*.

They can. Your claim is simply not true.

What is fantastically revealing is to see exactly how iOS users instantly
respond to facts.

The iOS user can't handle facts.

LOL! Look at how you have run HUNDREDS of times, by your own count, to
simple facts I have shared with you.

that's just a tiny sample of what can be done.
Heh heh heh ...
That's the best you can do?
99 things Android could do *years* ago that iOS *still* can't do now.

I give you a list of 100 things Android did *years* ago that iOS couldn't
do as of iOS 7, and while both Android and iOS moved forward, you can only
knock out a single item in that list?

Really?
Just one?

In all these *years* since iOS 7, Apple only was able to reduce the number
of things Android does that iOS can't hope to do ... by one?

Seriously?
One thing?

That's the best you can do?
99 things Android could do *years* ago that iOS *still* can't do now.

Maybe if you stopped lying about iOS and Android, and based things more on
evidence and not just your feelings, you would get better responses.

i can name a hundred things ios can do that android can't.
Name just one app functionality that iOS mobile devices can do, all by
their itty bitty selves, without needing a desktop computer with hundreds
of megabytes of bloatware on it, to do that task - that Android doesn't do
already.

Name just one.

Wait... so now you say no other hardware? Oh, easy... and you proved it
here:

http://youtu.be/cywLOctCrCs
http://youtu.be/bYDvgoYSVSU
http://youtu.be/G0sKTWfHHnk
http://youtu.be/TfvtREsCQDY

Those videos claim Android handles the task so poorly that to even get the
first line requires extra hardware. You even claimed the list "goes on
forever". Wow... YOU showed Android is far worse at this than I thought!

And now that you get that you are having a very emotional toddler tantrum.
Which I am feeding. :)

Heh heh heh ... you think I forgot about your cut-and-paste crap that you
trolled about a month or two ago? You couldn't even figure out what ONE
item was the *most important* for heaven's sake.

You didn't even *understand* the crap you cut and pasted, which was just
marketing bullshit snippets.

And you know that - which is why you couldn't list the most important item,
and neither could Jolly Roger who high-fived it (actually, he cut and
pasted a similar bullshit list - be we know he's just stupid whereas you
actually have the capacity to undstand what I'm saying).

Of course, Snit, who is arguably even dumber than Jolly Roger, high-fived
your idiotic list too.

And yet, not one of you can list the most important single app
functionality you claim is on iOS that you claim isn't on Android.

I can list the most important app functionality on Android that isn't on
iOS. It is *easy* to order them.

So can this guy.
