Those who remember the poet Ahmos Zu-Bolton
Sad to learn Ahmos passed away, I met and had poetry classes from him back in 1976 when he was a visiting poet at Carver High School for a few months.
Ahmos Zu-Bolton in Columbus Georgia 1976

Since the poet Ahmos Zu-Bolton was visiting Carver High in Columbus Georgia during the spring of 1976, of course some of the hundreds of people who also attended classes and taught there will remember him.

The first people I would ask would be my fellow staffers on the Pegasus Literary Magazine and the Carverlite school newspaper.

I posted this today in several Facebook groups:

Any of my fellow Carver SeventySix Tigers remember Ahmos Zu-Bolton?

Including:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/145829948831673/2096839927063989/?comment_id=2096856637062318&notif_id=1550185352613895&notif_t=group_comment

Where Paul Beecher has already responded:

"I was there from 74-78! I remember!"

And out of hundreds of other students and teachers who attended Carver High in 1976, there will be others who remember.

In due time.

One person, Rick Beecham, responded that he remembers.
I read that it was Paul Beecher.
That's leading the witness, Will, by stating "Since the poet Ahmos Zu-Bolton was visiting Carver High in Columbus Georgia during the spring of 1976,..." You should have just asked if anyone remembered him, without any clues."
"We don't know who Paul Beecher is and are not inclined to take his word for it since he claims to have been at the high school 5 years and the group that he answered on is a closed group. He was not in your grade either at the high school and was unlikely to have had Dan Barfly as a teacher as a 9th or 10th grader."

"Do any of these people have pictures of him at the school, clippings of news coverage when he was "poet in residence," direct dealings with him? Someone saying he remembers Zu-Bolton (as you claim) is not enough."

A month and more later, there is no corroboration. That is plenty of time for people to step up with all their remembrances of someone. Will was in a drugged up state in 1976 and wouldn't have remembered his own name. Zu-Bolton was safely in Washington D.C.

A month and more later, there is no corroboration. That is plenty of time for people to step up with all their remembrances of someone. Will was in a drugged up state in 1976 and wouldn't have remembered his own name. Zu-Bolton was safely in Washington D.C.
Like so many other of pissbum’s blatant lies or “misrepresentations”, this one will go the same way. He'll keep denying it’s a lie and then start up another lie to deflect from it.
He loves name dropping. He thinks it’s a way to make others believe he had/has a life.
Sometimes you almost want to have pity for him.

"I was there from 74-78! I remember!"
And out of hundreds of other students and teachers who attended Carver High in 1976, there will be others who remember.
In due time.
:)
That is right on and well put....

Absolutely. Evidently Zid wrote to Dan Barfly and there was no answer or he answered that he never heard of Zu-Bolton. Pickles is another one who plays make believe with the facts of his life.

You never have anything new to post, Turd.

You bump up 15-year old threads (oblivious to the fact that in 9 out of 10 of these, the regulars are accusing you of the same things that we are today); you slurp your pet pissbum; tell Pickles that his gibberish is "interesting"; repost/bump your poetry until everyone is sick to death with it; rebump videos of your karaoke cronies until everyone is sick to death with them; and whine about the big bad trolls who are picking on you.

Does anyone re-read Will's poems when they are bumped by him or Zid? We don't. It is just a waste of time and space for them to do that.

The thread is about zu Bolton.
NG, like many of us here, has called into question, whether or not zu Bolton was at Carver High School in Columbus, Ga, in the spring of 1976.
As of yet, you have failed to present substantial proof that he was there.

That is what NG and I are addressing right now.

Try to keep up.
That's not what we said at all. What we asked was if anyone "re-read" your poems that are constantly being bumped up:

(NG) "Does anyone re-read Will's poems when they are bumped by him or Zid? We don't. It is just a waste of time and space for them to do that."

Will, we know you are peddling as fast as you can, but you are falling way behind.

Of course the thread is about my meeting with Ahmos Zu-Bolton, "Me".
I was responding to "Nancy", who claimed not to read my poetry, to which I think is for the best for both of us.
Try to keep up.

He’s trying to deflect as fast as he can.
But, unfortunately for him, it’s just not fast enough

So, you've read my poetry, "Nancy".

Thanks for that, I reckon.

So, fat fuck. When will you provide the proof that zu bolton was at your high school in the spring of 1976?

What do you imagine that I'm trying to deflect, "Me"?

I'm the one who started this thread.

Do try to keep up.

Yeah, right.
Time to end this, Will.

Dan Barfly introduced visiting poet Zu-Bolton to your class as your school's "poet-in-residence." He was joking. You thought that "poet-in-residence" meant living in or around Columbus. Admit it and move on.

Any of my fellow Carver SeventySix Tigers remember Ahmos Zu-Bolton?

"I was there from 74-78! I remember!"
And out of hundreds of other students and teachers who attended Carver High in 1976, there will be others who remember.
In due time.
:)
Sounds like a cool plan.....

Ignore the trolls......
