"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold
by the door but climbs in by another way, that man is a thief
and a robber. But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of
the sheep. To him the gatekeeper opens. The sheep hear his
voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.
When he has brought out all his own, he goes before them, and
the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. A stranger they
will not follow, but they will flee from him, for they do not know
the voice of strangers."

No, but according to Deuteronomy 18:15-19 and anyone who believes the MESSIAH predicted in the Torah would be a Prophet in the likeness of Moses, delivering a brand NEW Covenant for the Gentiles just like Moses did for the Hebrews.

In the very context of Mark 6:1-6, Jesus can easily be seen as
calling himself that Prophet.

But why should anyone listen to anything you have to say when
your words are continuously strewn with such vulgarity?

I think it would wise for everyone to simply ignore you, for your
choice of words, and for being wrong most of the time.

Your position is not even RATIONAL:
The God of the Torah, the 10 Commandments, Deuteronomy included is not 'associationist'; He has no Son associated with Him. So don't invent Him one.
However, in what is called Christology, God describes the Messiah to be born as the Prophet in the likeness of Moses.
What's meant to be a Prophet in the likeness of Moses? The woman at the Well, John 4:25-26, has the answer for you

So why do you say Jesus Christ instead of Jesus Son? I assume you know Christ is the same thing as Messiah.

25 The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming” (who is called Christ). “When He comes, He will tell us all things.”
26 Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am He.” John 4:25-26

http://www.answering-islam.org/Silas/deut1818.htm

The word "Prophet" in that passage only means the object will come from a tribe of Israel. That makes sense, since all the prophets listed in the OT came from one of those tribes. Jesus is not mentioned at all.

As I said before, only the Moslems call Jesus a "prophet."
The Christians call him savior and messiah and the Jews don't mention him at all in the Old Testament.

No. The Apostles, in Acts 3:22 and Acts 7:37, clearly and unmistakably
understood the word "Prophet" in Deuteronomy 18:18 as being fulfilled by
Jesus, whom God said He "would raise up, and put His words in his
mouth", and that he would "tell them everything I command him". Peter
explicitly says, "You must listen to everything he tells you."

And you're having a discussion with a Christian, who believes the New
Testament to be the means by which God sets up His new covenant with
mankind. I thought you knew that.

Why do you continuously choose to contradict yourself by entering into
discussions with me, after clearly stating, "I don't want to waste my time
trying to discuss anything with you."

You know I will generally disagree with you, and make it a point of
showing where you're wrong, according to God's New Testament.

Try to remember that. It's not that difficult.

In Deuteronomy 18:18 the Father calls the Son a Prophet.
http://www.answering-islam.org/Silas/deut1818.htm
The word "Prophet" in that passage only means the object will come from a tribe of Israel. That makes sense, since all the prophets listed in the OT came from one of those tribes. Jesus is not mentioned at all.
"I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their fellow
Israelites, and I will put my words in his mouth. He will tell them
everything I command him."
Believe whatever you want. You're not arguing with me.
You're arguing with God.
Horsedung. I'm a Jew. We do not recognize the New Testament, so quoting it to me
is a waste of time.
From our point of view, you are quoting irrelevant nonsense.
And you're having a discussion with a Christian, who believes the New
Testament to be the means by which God sets up His new covenant with
mankind. I thought you knew that.
A covenant is an agreement between 2 parties. The Old Covenant was set down and agreed to by Moses and God in the Book of Exodus. It applied to Jews only.

Where did God agree to that bunch of BS you call the New Covenant? ? Show me.
We never agreed to it and the Lord God never told us he was cancelling the Old Covenant.

Using the New Testament to interpret the Old Testament is the act of an ignoramus. Our OT was written more than 1000 years before the NT. Neither has anything to do with the other.

We don't recognize the New Testament. Quoting it to me is meaningless.
To us, it's the word of a bunch of misguided people who were conned by a clever preacher and who have been dead for 2000 years. The Old Testament warns us to beware of false prophets and,to us, Jesus is one of those.

By the way, I'm curious about this "New Covenant" you keep talking about.
You say it's a covenant between God and "mankind." Since only 1/3 of the Earth's population are Christians, how can that be so? Where did the other 2/3 of the human race agree to it? A covenant is an agreement between 2 parties.

We allow you theists to disagree with one another because majority of the world population have nothing to do with you Christian pixie or Jewish pixie.

If you are to read carefully, you old and new covenant, OT and NT are all bullshits....nothing of value to human being. On the other hand, we have thousands of laws guiding human behavior, and covering all aspect of human societies.

In Deuteronomy 18:18 the Father calls the Son a Prophet.
How about this next sentence.
Deuteronomy 18:18-19New International Version (NIV)
18 I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their fellow
Israelites, and I will put my words in his mouth. He will tell them everything I
command him. 19 I myself will call to account anyone who does not listen to my
words that the prophet speaks in my name
Does a tulip obey everything Jesus teaches. Certainly not. Very little in
fact.
The text you just quoted said nothing about the Son Of God but the Messiah, a Prophet in the likeness of Moses.
The true record was revealed when God became flesh?
Wait, I know, it must've been abiogenesis.

No, if you were a Christian, you'd understand.

It's up to you if you want to believe that or not.
That's what the Jews thought a few thousand years before the God became flesh.

We still believe that. Don't distort the notion of Judeo-Christian morals to somehow indicate that Jews have changed their minds about the so-called divinity of Jesus. We still don't buy any of it.

For sure. I wasn't implying other. God first revealed himself to the Jews as
singular. It wasn't until 2000 years ago that God revealed more - triune in
Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

I don't see any way that the Jews could think other than prophet under the
circumstances.

He is presented as God become flesh. I wouldn't call him a "prophet".

Not a very good one: He prophesied Armageddon "before this generation shall pass away", which had been proved wrong before the first evangelist wrote it up.

Show exactly where Jesus prophesied that Armageddon would occur before
that generation would die off. And then show how it is impossible for you to
not be misinterpreting that passage.

Let me put it like this: I'm more than positive that you are.

But, if you want me to rub your face in your own feces, bring it on.
--
"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold
by the door but climbs in by another way, that man is a thief
and a robber.

Now he lies and takes the other side of the message of God.

Hence the legend of the Wandering Jew who was condemned to walk the
Earth until that happened. Rather like the Flying Dutchman.
