Looks like it has a cast to die for---as well as De Niro and Pacino
there's long time Scorsese favorite sideman Joe Pesci,Stephen Graham
(my favorite ever screen Capone and a fellow limey to boot!) Bobby
Cannavale (the psychopathic Gyp Rosetti in "Boardwalk Empire",) the
ever reliable Wolf,Harvey Keitel and of course dear old Silvio himself
Steve Van Zandt

Yep,I can't wait to see it!

I watched it yesterday. The soundtrack started off great, with "In The Still Of The Nite," "I Hear You Knockin' " and "The Fat Man" in the first five minutes. But it fizzled out. It certainly was no "Mean Streets" or "Goodfellas." But the movie was terrific.

I think "In The Still Of The Nite" was heard in its entirety in the credits. Did you notice Vito Piccone played a motel manager?

I think "In The Still Of The Nite" was heard in its entirety in the credits. Did you notice Vito Piccone played a motel manager?

I didn't notice, but I saw it in the credits. RFK was played by Jack Huston, who played Richard the sharpshooter in Boardwalk Empire.

I just watched the conversation with the 3 stars and the director which comes on Netflix right after the movie. They used some new digiital process rather than makeup to make the 3 stars look younger in the flashback scenes.

In Philadelphia, I heard about him decades ago.....I thought that was everything wrong with the union movement that creepy, corrupt people like him were important people in certain unions in this town. I read parts of his death bed biography, "You Paint Houses, Don't You?", and I fully believe his story on how the union racketeer disappeared without a trace. I have no doubt.

birthday--I know this because it's also my birthday--and I hope they
give him the Oscar for best supporting actor that night.

CGI aging process was preposterous.
Took away from the film. Clunkiest thing from Scorcese since Vsn Morrison's dsnce moves in "The Last Waltz", baby!!
