Folks, I'm sorry to report that our dear sweet Riley Jane was called
home to the Lord last night, peacefully and surrounded by her family.

So very sorry to hear that, it was probably a blessing, hope she
didn't suffer too much.
She certainly got dealt a bad hand to end up with such a cruel and
rare disease.

Haven't posted here in a long while but look in every now and then to
keep an eye out for updates on RJ.

Al, when you talk to her family again, please pass on my condolences.
They won't know me but I swapped notes with her re: diabetes a couple of
years back.

RJ was always classy, rarely said a bad word about anyone and typically
would help answer medical questions to whoever asked without being
judgmental. That she was later struck down by such a debilitating disease
didn't seem fair.

Rest easy RJ. See you in the next life.
