I'm planning to deploy a small web project, around
the time Let's Encrypt comes out.

https://letsencrypt.org/

It should all be administered in a fairly clean way --
minimal load, logs scrubbed, and so on. I'm looking
for a VPS that has:

* Good privacy and security policies

* Decent price

What I don't need so much:

* Support

* Features

* High performance

What VPS hosting are you using, and do you like it?

Are you safe from 3rd-party web tracking? http://www.aloodo.org/test/

I have been using http://bitfolk.com/ for many years. They're very
competent and understand that the customer might be too. It's been
reliable and it's not expensive. They're based and hosted in the UK.

I've been very pleased with them and have used them for non-personal
stuff as well.

I've been using Linode for a while and I'm pretty happy with it.

I'm using VPSdime with their smallest package (6GB RAM, 30GB SSD, 2TB
bandwidth), and I haven't had any problems with it.
