Jack was not in the Dallas Morning News at the time of the JFK murder
as he testified and the Warren Wizards believed.

On the Willis photo, it's pretty well known that Willis speculated
that one of his post-shooting photos might show Jack Ruby. (That may
have even been covered in his Warren Commission testimony.) My
recollection, which might be wrong, is that a researcher (and I
believe it was a conspiracy-based researcher) later used other
photographs of the same scene to show that the possible Ruby was not
in fact our man Jack.

As for the IRS informant and "fireworks" that does not ring any bells
with me. (And, of course, would make no sense for Ruby to say if he
had foreknowledge of the upcoming assassination -- although it seems
he was such an odd guy I suppose he might have).

Houston and Elm asking questions there." She also "noticed him take a
colored boy away on a motorcycle."

Is this corroboration of Willis or more evidence that she was a very
shaky witness at best?

I'm only operating off memory, but I am pretty sure that a researcher by
using other photos made it clear that the man in the Willis photo was not
Ruby.

I realize that's not enough to settle this, since it is off my claim to a
shaky memory, but I am hoping someone else could cite to that research.

All I know is that IF MY MEMORY IS RIGHT back then when I was still firmly
in the conspiracy camp, these photos convinced me it wasn't Ruby and that
was another "lead" that I tossed aside while pursuing the real
controversies..
