Am I the only who reads the news about the folks in London murdering
each other who is thinking "what has it got to do with us"?
I have read the excuses - David Lammy blaming middle-class white drug
users, Chuka Ummuna blaming random individuals "because they are poor"
and telling us we should stop calling out gangs, Diana Abbott blaming
stop and search, and Corbyn blaming the government.
It is a circus.
Even though I was born there, to me London is now another country and
has been for years. And I don't mean because of the colour mix of its
inhabitants, but its culture and its relationship (or lack there of) to
the rest of the UK.
It doesn't want anything to do with the rest of us so I am finding it
difficult to care, but even if I did - what can we do that it cannot do
for itself?
But has it in fact just lost its soul?
I dunno, just musing.....
