Kettering - the marks left on the back of your legs when you've been
sitting on wicker-work furniture.

associated with Hitchhiker's? - which gives humorous meanings to various
British placenames (Liff is a place).

I've often felt that the part of Oxford where my brother lives - Iffley
- ought to have a meaning: "I feel a bit iffley". I'd be very surprised
if it _doesn't_ have an entry in the book, but I don't have a copy.
