long line) is fixed just came out.

Here are v5.0.3 fixed bugs and added features (from v5.0.2) :

a file contains a very long line.
2. Fix the display problem in found results dialog while processing find in

option bug.

Please let me know if you find any critical bug in this release.

I personally can't read/use Hebrew but its nice to know that Notepad++ will
be used in more languages. :)

Now I've got to find and convince someone to do a Maori translation for no other
reason than it would be cool!

I am having trouble with the QuickText plugin because word completion now uses
the same shortcut (Ctrl+Enter) and I can't seem to get Function parameter hinting
to work.

haven't really thought of that.
It works well now! Just had to remove the shortcut for the auto-completion.

Yeah, I thought of that right after I posted. Works great. I still can't seem
to figure out the Function parameter hinting though. What languages does it
work with? How does it work?

it seem the syntax colors for xml don't seem to be working.. like they work
for items at the start.. but scrolling downwards I eventually see the colors
goaway.. and I'm just left with black text...

nothing wrong with the coding or syntax.. can even copy/paste colored syntax
from the top.. down at the bottom of the same document and it also goes black

wtf

just updated to 5.0.3, copied over Port VibrantInk's stylers.xml into the root
but the colours have not changed :\

looks like the stylers.xml file is not being read - other than that, it's all
looking quite nice!

thanks don

multiinst commandline option is not working. Try adding this to a shortcut and
launching Notepad++ in a new instance. It doesn't fly. I'm also seeing the color
syntax disappearing when you scroll through the document. These are obviously
bugs that need fixing.

What is the status for Notepad++ handling large documents? Has this feature
been implemented?

Hi Don,

As install this patch, it removes plugin 'function list' with reason of incompatible.
However, as I manually put this plugin back, it seems to work normally. What
is the incompatible issue for this plugin exactly?

work in ASP tags in v5 and now it doesn't work in 5.0.3

Hello,

there are two reasons for removing it from installer:
- User Defined Language are not supported at the moment
- There are resource leaks in version 1.2 when using both views toghter. v2.0
causes crashes on using.

Best Regards
Jens

Oh...that's easy. With me...I would simply import a webpage source code into
NotePad++ 5.0.3 and just scroll through the document. After a while something
strange happens...the color syntax color coding drops off and you have ugly
black text running through the whole thing.

Don, I'm afraid I may have lost the html file when I experienced this. However...for
clarity's sake...I'm going to try and reproduce this error otherwise I would
say it may only be a hiccup. I do have other html text editors on my laptop
and I can't be certain I was using Notepad++ when I had this issue.

Again l I will try to reproduce it and as of right now I can't. Since experiencing
this issue...I've changed my html file extension associations and now I'm using
a different editor. But I'll test the html raw code on Notepad++ to see if there
are any irregularities. It could be a driver issue as I've recently experienced
a hard disk crash and had to rebuild my computer from the ground up by reinstalling
everything from scratch.

I've installed a new plug-in in Firefox (post scrolling through html code incident)
which allows me to immediately see the source code. It's called ViewSourceWith
and I'll try it with Notepad++ to see if the issue happens again.

Don,
I have posted 2 comments about this old bug : [ 1589507 ] Bug in the TCL syntax
highlighting.
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1589507&group_id=95717&
atid=612382

It would be great for TCL users that use npp if this comments were added in
the next release. I have tested and now syntax highlighting works fine (like
in scite).

I believe there is some nasty bug in this and previous releases.

It happens when having both Total Commander and Notepad++ open at the same time
but probably also affects every other app even though it's not that prominent
in them.

Bug I'm seeing is that when N++ is open and I switch to TC window, it takes
a while to redraw all items in TC. Place where button bar is, appears blank
at first and then after about 200ms it shows up.
It should be instant, I shouldn't be able to see drawing of icons.
After I close N++ it is super fast.

Even though it seems to happen more often with different plugins running I have
also tried without plugins (renamed plugins folder) and it also happens then.
But not consistently. Sometimes I have to edit and save some file few times
to trigger it, sometimes it happens instantly after opening N++.

This looks like not fully fixed bug described here:

OK, I think I found a way to consistenly reproduce it.
1. Right click in editable area
2. Left click on editable area
3. Switch to TC

So seems to trigger after invoking context menu.
