Owen John /Llewellyn/

was the son of Mary Blanche /Somers/ baptised in 1847
daughter of Thomas /Somers/ born 1812
son of
Benjamin /Somers/ by his wife Mary Pope

son of
Edward /Somers/ by his wife Sarah Price

son of that Mary Jones who d 4 Oct 1750 "ae 40"

The four grandparents of Mary Jones were

Cadwallader /Jones/ of Cameley, Somerset
Elizabeth /Creswick/ of Langford Court (as heiress)
Edward /Clarke/ of Chipley; Comptroller of the Household to Mary II; MP Taunton
Mary /Jepp/

This can be taken back to more interesting people by finding that *when* Mary Jepp's marriage contract was drawn up, she was being given away by her uncle John Buckland.

Mary was the daughter of Samuel /Jepp/ of Sutton Court, Chew Magna, Somerset by his wife Elizabeth /Buckland/, both of whom were by 1675 dead when their daughter married

This Samuel was the son of an earlier Samuel Jepp who as her first husband married Elizabeth Cross daughter of William /Cross/ of Blackmore

This should provide some interesting discoveries

Some of these people are included in the ancestor list here:

However, # 854 and # 855 are probably incorrect.

I agree with you regarding #854 and 855. I have #427 Martha Talbot as a sister, not daughter, of #854 Rev. Thomas Talbot. Genealogics has her assigned to the parents of Rev. Thomas (although it does not include Rev. Thomas himself). This is supported by a pedigree of Talbot of Lacock in BLG 1939, and the birth dates for Martha and Rev. Thomas make it pretty clear.

Mary Blanche Somers, baptized in 1847, has a descent from Edward I,
which may need some verification, outlined here:

The update should happen in the next day or two.

Most of the royal descents I mentioned are relatively easy to find.
And sometimes, it takes too long to type out all of the details.

I currently show 5 Edward I descents for Mary Washbourne and 13 for Martha Carne.

For Mary Skene, I currently show 9 descents from James IV, the most recent Scottish monarch in her ancestry AFAIK.

I'll be interested to see the Isabella de Jong royal descent.
