What's with all the choppers in the air this morning. There have been 4 passing overhead in the past couple of hours and we can go weeks without ANY. One and I thought it might be an air ambulance but 4 ?

Probably taking big wigs for an aerial tour of the Tall Ships!

That could be it. Another one just flew pat not 5 minutes ago. This is kind of inland for a view of the tall ships though. The ones I've managed to actually see seem to be coming from the direction of Shearwater and headed inland. They could be picking people up though.

There's a company offering 30 minute rides for around $120 per person, minimum 4 ppl per tour.

My money's on that as an explanation. That would be quite the experience to see the Tall Ships and the rest of the city from the air. Would love to take Kevin up. He's be SOOOO excited
