"These are Matthew Savage, the chairman of Dorilton Capital, and Darren
Fultz, who is the CEO of the investment fund. Both previously served at
Rothschild, and played a role in founding Dorilton in 2009.

"The pair will be joined on the board of directors by James Matthews,
who is the CEO of Eden Rock Group."

(today)

"The name that I find interesting is former racing driver James Matthews
who my sources say is the person who I should be looking at.

"He owns his own asset management and investment company called Eden
Rock Capital, which is run by managing-director Edward Horner. If the
name sounds familiar that is because it is Christian’s cousin.

"Matthews has been around racing all his life and, to some extent,
motorsport – and F1 - is unfinished business for him.

"There is another link with the F1 world that is also worth considering.
James raced for John Booth’s Manor Motorsport in Formula Renault . . . .

"The historic link with Manor is interesting but there is nothing as yet
to suggest that there is a link between Matthews and Manor. John Booth
is now 65 and may not be that interested in further F1 adventures, but
his business partner Graeme Lowdon has been working quietly in recent
years to get a new F1 venture up and running."

Thought #1
How did our fellow poster who bought stock in Williams make out?

Thought #2
It always struck me that they were very cold blooded
when it came to hiring, firing, and replacing drivers.

Sad to see an such an exciting and successful team fizzle out,
especially an independent team without the deep pockets that the major
players have. I think it had to happen, however, probably overdue.

Where is Eddie Jordan with a hot tip??
Yes, missing Eddie these days. I know he could be a PITA at times but
he always seemed to have great knowledge of what was going on behind
the scenes.

I heard an interview with him yesterday. No tips, but a gushing review
of Frank William's career. Really didn't hold back with praise for his
innovation (along with Patrick Head) and his gentlemanly approach in
real life while having a rock-hard approach to winning on-track.
