VIDEO - Fox Kicks Off 'War On Easter'

http://bradblog.com/video/flvplayer/FlvPlayer.html?file=http://www.ameratsu.com/media/vid/fox/fox_ff_war_on_easter_060324a_320x240..flv&width=320&height=240&OrigWidth=320&OrigHeight=240

by David Edwards of Veredictum.com

We haven't forgotten Fox News' phony 'War on Christmas' where Bill
O'Reilly, John Gibson and other Fox personalities attacked anyone or
anything that used blasphemous words like "holiday".

http://www.bradblog.com/archives/00002128.htm

Fox is again "fighting for the rights the Christian Majority" with
another faux menace: The War on Easter.

Undoubtedly, the "Spring Bunny" will cause the downfall of The
Republic.

My wife, a Sunday School teacher of seven year olds sent a
note to the parents about an Easter egg hunt for Saturday
before Easter. She received a letter from a parent saying that
easter was offensive to some and it should be called something else. .

OK. It's now officially "Three Days After The Jews Killed Jesus Day".

This thing about "the Jews killing Jesus"...

ALL of them did it? All at once? Big flash mob of Jews?

This fisherman from around that time, Jewey McJewington of Jew Lane in the
Jewsbury suburb of Caesarea Maritima on the Phoenician border, father of
nine and part-time subsistence farmer, perpetually beaten on by the Romans,
living a hundred or so miles away from Jerusalem... HE killed Jesus?

I suspect that the vast majority of the residents of Judea at that time were
more concerned with getting enough food to eat and staying out of the way of
the Roman levies from Germania (scary red-faced dudes with blonde hair and
mustaches... sweated a lot). Hanging out in Jerusalem for Passover was
probably low on their agenda.

Wasn't it the other way around, that Quintilius who governed the area
at the time of the first census, was sent to Germania later. He marched
through the northern part of it with three legions, and got beaten near
Osnabrück in the Teutoburg Forest. The place (Kalkriese) was found by
a British officer around 1989, and there is a museum now (I visited it
6 months ago).

Was it our own beloved Puzzling Evidence who said "The JEWS didn't
kill Jesus; the POLICE killed Jesus?" That covers SO DAMNED MUCH OF IT.
Out of the mouths of blithering Subgeniuses often come the brightest
pearls of dark wisdom. I mean, Jesus deserves our respect, if for no
other reqason than that He COULD have turned Pilate and all the guards
into toads, but He didn't; He stayed the course and it SMARTED, too.

Besides, if you want to have greater success in promoting a religion,
adding candy to the deal is a sharp marketing move. Not at all like
those gagsome SubGenius durian fruit/lemon peel hybrids. You can't even
attract ants with that toxic crap.

Jesus was killed by a CIA hit squad operating under the guidance of the
NWO/Rockerfellers/Freemasons. They took a time machine back and did it.
and pinned the blame on Judas.

I read it on teh internet, so it must be true!

Some of the parent's acquaintances, I suppose, she did not identify
the person(s) who objected. The hunt will be held on a slightly
wooded area adjoining the Church grounds.

Because I am one. I'm an atheist and was born out of wedlock - for the
first two years of my life, I was legally a bastard. BTW, I obviously don't
view that as a bad word. Not my fault my parents were teenagers who forgot
the birth control. Why should I view the label I acquired through no fault
of my own as bad?

How can anyone guarantee their legitimacy 10 generations!?!?

Deuteronomy 23:2 A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD;
even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the
LORD.

I think that if all of the bastards (love children)
left the churches, there would be a lot of empty pews.

You shouldn't. But unfortunately, narrow minded people do take a
dim view. I would not recommend you to broadcast it and give them
ammunition. It's wrong of them to disparage you over something
that you were helpless to control. You are totally innocent.

My wife, a Sunday School teacher of seven year olds sent a
note to the parents about an Easter egg hunt for Saturday
before Easter. She received a letter from a parent saying that
easter was offensive to some and it should be called something else. .
Wha? That doesn't even make sense. If she's sending her kid to Sunday
School, isn't she a christian?
Some Christians realize Easter is a (obviously) pagan holiday and will
not have anything to do with it. Other Christians actually believe
Easter has something to do with a dead Jew on a stick. There's no
telling who the Christian lunatics are without a score card.

Recall we've had some of those in the FidoNet HolySmoke echo come
through, admitting they knew what Easter actually was. It was
damn rare.

Yes, I know. For some reason they always schedule it right before
Easter.

But already:

Many national stores are choosing not to have their employees say
"Happy Good Friday!" to their customers.

The "Good Friday" decorations are all silently disappearing.

Many radio stations are playing significantly less "Good Friday" music
than they have in the past.

Fox News needs to get on this story immediately!

Not since he was declared an enemy combatant by the above reproach
informant Judas. Or as his friend Bush calls him 30 SilverMan
because he's all about the bling.

The evidence is rather compelling with the alleged riot incitement on
the mount and sudden unprovoked bout of violence on those innocently
conducting business in a temple.

How dare you suggest I thought Good Friday was past? I knew it all
along, obviously. Can't you tell from my post? You can't?

Actually, I think I remember this from Sunday School. On Good Friday
Jesus was crucified and died and was buried. Three days later he rose
from the tomb. And if he saw his shadow there were six more weeks of
winter.

Okay, maybe I confused it with Maundy Thursday. That one's past, isn't
it? Maundy Thursday. Yeah, that's it.

P.S. Of course I'm making it all up. It's Usenet!

Nah. Doesn't work. The pole burns trough at the base before
the virgin is properly incinerated. Then it tips over, and
you've got bits of half-roast ex-virgin splattered all over
the solstice party. So we fixed it so that we do the
bonfire, and the swedes to the thing with the pole. But of
course, the swedes had to pussy out and put a symbolic
wreath at the top instead. Fucking swedes can't ever get
things quite right. We all do the dancing round whatever it
is and getting drunk, though.

Christianity more acceptable to pagans whom missionary programs

I dunno. There seem to be lots of overlays.
Like with the Christians on top of the Jews
on top of the Pagans and Pantheists and
Animists. Then, on top of that, you got your
Muslims, and Mormons. And the veritable
plethora of Johnny-Come-Lately Saviors.
Religion is Big Business! Show me one of
those bastards that is handing out money
instead of telling you that you got to give
it up because God sez so, and you'll burn
if you don't. If that's not extortion, I'll
kiss your ass!

GO EASTER! GO CHRISTMAS!

Screw the political correctness crap - it's ridiculous when it comes to
major US holidays. I wonder how many kids actually associate Easter
and Christmas with religious principals versus commerical ones? I bet
that split is probably close to 50-50.

I mean come on Holiday Dance - it's the Christmas Dance. It doesn't
mean that you celebrate this particular religious holiday - it simply
means you're attending a dance in the winter which usually falls near a
major "recognized" US holiday.

A huge majority of the country doesn't have to go to work on XMAS day -
should we call this unconstitutional? If I can't go to my favorite
store on Christmas because it is closed are my rights being violated.

Please............call it for what it is.

VIDEO - Fox Kicks Off 'War On Easter'
Start with the term "Easter", which was invented by
atheistsecularistabortionists as a way of getting rid of the
Resurrection. Henceforth, this day will be known as Resurrectionmas.

Then there are all those gay pastel colors. Obviously this was
promoted by the atheistsecularistabortionisthomosexual lobby. Blood
red, black, and white only on Resurrectionmas, please.

Images of bunnies are okay, so long as they are being ritually
slaughtered and burned as sacrifices to the Almighty. The
atheistsecularistabortionisthomosexualPETAnuts won't like it, but too
bad.

Finally, eggs are okay too, provided they are decorated with pictures
of aborted fetuses and then tossed at the homes of
atheistsecularistabortionisthomosexualPETAnutcommiedemlibs.

We're taking back Resurrectionmas.
