I found a small book with this title ion the local Oxfam. It was first
published in 1975 (my copy is a 1976 reprint). There are a few (almost
unreadable) maps at the front and the text divides into two parts: the
front section those characters who are active in TA at the time of
publication and the second , smaller, part is of those who have
departed, either by the intervention of the Grim Reaper or have moved
out of the area.
The descriptions of the characters are a bit unexpected. I will give one
example:

David Archer: "At sixteen young David Archer does not want to follow the
family tradition of going into farming. He is at boarding school [. . .]
pave the way for a career in politics."

The Archers Encyclopedia says " As a child, he had quickly shown an
aptitude for farming."

Now although these two statements are not totally irreconcilable it does
seem a bit odd don't it?

Yes and I can explain this. There are many instances all over the
place of things where two irreconcilable facts exist. There are quite
a large group or various groups who can point, for instance, to poems
or sings or areas on map or logos or things on cars and they remember
them differently. There is a change.

The theory is that there are many almost the same universes, not a new
theory for some here I would think, and now and then the universes
slip and things from one are in another that is not quite the same. As
I have a bad memory this affects me less than B but a few things are
ones I notice. I think The Lord's Prayer words was one that changed.
Not just because of a reason we know of. apparently Costa Rica used to
be an island but is now joined to the mainland.

This anomaly in TA books is probably one of those slips.

I'm looking for the section of the multiverse where Nigel Farage's
plane crash put him off politics for life.
