Looking for information on the city of NAWCWKA

Hi,
I've recently started researching my ancestry and came across ship listings from
the time my father arrived to Argentina in 1926. The listing states that the
place of origin for my father's family was NAWCWKA. Unfortunately I have not
been able to find any information on this city (I know he was born in Poland,
but where exactly is or was that city? Is there any other name for it??) I'm
hoping to find something about it to guide me in a possible search of birth
records. Thanks in advance for any information you can provide.

I've recently started researching my ancestry and came across ship
listings from the time my father arrived to Argentina in 1926. The
listing states that the place of origin for my father's family was NAWCWKA.

Note that there can often be transcription errors due to the way the
handwriting is interpreted or possibly the OCR scans interpret the
typewritten texts. If you have not done already, you should try and
examine the original document taking into account illegible handwriting
or blurred print.

I do not know whether it was exactly this "name" that was written on one
of the ship manifests of one of my cousins, but a on a closer
examination the town name turned out to be one of my ancestral towns,
Narewka (Narewka Mala/Narifka/Narevka) which is a small town (before
industrial revolution a village) close to Bielsk and on the route to
Bialystok.
