Presenting 55 Facts About Homeopathy

How Homeopathy Works
http://hpathy.com/homeopathy-papers/presenting-55-facts-about-homeopathy/
August 16, 2009 by Louise Mclean
FACT 1: Hippocrates ‘The Father of Medicine’ of Ancient Greece said
there were two Laws of Healing: The Law of Opposites and the Law of
Similars. Homeopathy treats the patient with medicines using the Law
of Similars, while orthodox medicine uses the Law of Opposites, e.g.
antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, anti-convulsants,
anti-hypertensives, anti-depressants, anti-psychotics etc.

[Comment : allopathic medicine treats by opposing the disease. This is
the definition of modern allopathic medicine.

http://medical-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/allopathy

al·lop·a·thy
A method of treating disease with remedies that produce effects
antagonistic to those caused by the disease itself.

Allopathy
Conventional medical treatment of disease symptoms that uses
substances or techniques to oppose or suppress the symptoms.

Orthodox Medicine Opposing Homeopathy
FACT 33: In the United States in the early 1900s there were 22
homeopathic medical schools and over 100 homeopathic hospitals, 60
orphanages and old people’s homes and 1,000+ homeopathic
pharmacies.FACT

34: Members of the American Medical Association had great animosity
towards homeopathy after its formation in 1847 and it was decided to
purge all local medical societies of physicians who were homeopaths.

FACT 35: Big Pharma does not want the public to find out how well
homeopathy works!

Scientific Studies
FACT 36: In 2005 World Health Organisation brought out a draft report
which showed homeopathy was beneficial, causing Big Pharma to panic
and the Lancet to bring out an editorial entitled ‘The End of
Homeopathy’.

FACT 37: In 2005 the Lancet tried to destroy homeopathy with a
meta-analysis of 110 studies. But they secretly only used 8 carefully
selected inconclusive trials. This was a fraudulent analysis.
“The meta-analysis at the centre of the controversy is based on 110
placebo-controlled clinical trials of homeopathy and 110 clinical
trials of allopathy (conventional medicine), which are said to be
matched. These were reduced to 21 trials of homeopathy and 9 of
conventional medicine of ‘higher quality’ and further reduced to 8 and
6 trials, respectively, which were ‘larger, higher quality’. The final
analysis which concluded that ‘the clinical effects of homoeopathy are
placebo effects’ was based on just the eight ‘larger, higher quality’
clinical trials of homeopathy. The Lancet’s press release did not
mention this, instead giving the impression that the conclusions were
based on all 110 trials.”
http://www.pubmedcentral.nih.gov/articlerender.fcgi?artid=1375230

See website for full list reasons homeopathy is superior to modern
medicine.

This discussion wouldn't be necessary if the allopaths who continue to
invade an alternative health group didn't keep pusing their barrow
against homeopathy and any / all alternative therapies.

allopathy.

I wonder if even a 100% solution of what ever silica they use, with no
dilutions, would do it? Loosing the foot seems to be the only sure cure of
foot fungus via homeopathy.

Besides, if they made a pill strong enough to kill that fungus they would be
loosing a sucker. Homeopathy is designed to hook the suckers for life.

Allopathy as defined in 1796, when Hahnemann invented the word, means
simply all modalities existing in (1796) which were not homeopathic
in nature. (Homeopathy was his own invention of using dilute
substances and his concept of provings). So we ask what exactly were
the different schools or modalities available in 1796?

Listed from the oldest to newest:
1) herbalism
2) magic and ritualism (often called religion and witchcraft)
3) galenism (the 4 humors)
4) paracelsianism

I don't see modern Evidence Based Medicine listed at all. Do you
think the dictionaries writers and ethnologist might be mistaken
about what the word allopathy means. Or have they already re defined
or misdefined it using Politically Correct terms?

I'm sorry you are such a thickhead bob.
There is nothing anybody can do about it - we are just stuck with
people like you and chung who just can't help themselves.

I case you hadn't noticed, this is an alternative health ng.
Homeopathy and cellsalts are traditional well recognised alternative
health modalities.

Look at your allopathic medicine which uses chemo, radiation and
surgery to cure cancer, and when I say cure there is only about 50%
cure rate still, even after the war on cancer was begun in 1970.
Not much progress there except to diagnose earlier - and therefore 5
year mark is reached earlier.
BTW did you know that chemo has about 2.5% success rate for cure, yet
it is still widely used and rarely questioned?

I don't see modern Evidence Based Medicine listed at all. Do you
think the dictionaries writers and ethnologist might be mistaken
about what the word allopathy means. Or have they already re defined
or misdefined it using Politically Correct terms?
Modern evidence based medicine is an inventional of the pharmaceutical
business where scientific testing can cost millions and is up to 90%
flawed.
ACtually if you are using Ioannidis work to base that claim, he would
even tell you that you are wrong. You still don't know how to read,
carole.
I don't think so bob. If I go over the article -

Lies, Damned Lies, and Medical Science

I find many actual quotes from Ioannidis himself, where he writes off
scientific studies as being as useless as tits on a bull.
You should read it sometime, and I don't mean the follow-up damage
control version sponsored by big pharma

Get used to it bob. and you might want to consider moving on to
sci.med.pharmaceutical dupes or similar.
carole why do you and socks try to silence people?
That's clark bob.
This is a ng bob - go and find the conventional socks such as Ernie,
Chumpski, Big Stidd and Little Stidd etc.

I don't have to listen to your BS bob, none of the alties do.
Modern science has had many concepts removed, courtesy of those who
would control humanity. Keep us dumbed down and financially dependent.

Bob it seems to me that while you like to talk about truth,
eliminating preconceptions and bias, you talk the talk but don't walk
the walk.

al·lop·a·thy
Allopathy as defined in 1796, when Hahnemann invented the word, means
simply all modalities existing in (1796) which were not homeopathic
in nature. (Homeopathy was his own invention of using dilute
substances and his concept of provings). So we ask what exactly were
the different schools or modalities available in 1796?
I sympathise with your dilemma bob. However, allopathy is now
universally recognised as being conventional medicine. Get used to it.
Carole, you and your sockpuppets are not everybody. Now get lost.

Presenting 55 Facts About Homeopathy
There is a very simple and quite cheap experiment which a group of
homeopaths could do which would prove beyond doubt the efficacy or
otherwise of their waters and pills. An experiment which would raise
homeopathy to the pinnacle of medical achievement- if it worked.

This experiment wouldn't require hundreds of patients, it wouldn't
require controls. It is simple, cheap, and if it worked would win a
bucket of Nobel prizes and world fame for homeopathy. It would prove
beyond all doubt that homeopathy was effective, or fake.

Throughout the history of medicine there have been a number of brave
experimenters who have chosen to test their own theories upon
themselves.

There is one infection which conventional medicine freely admits it is
wholly unable to cure. Catching it is a irrevocable death sentence.
Yet homeopaths throughout the ages have said (and still say) they can
cure it easily and reliably.

So to prove beyond any doubt whatsoever that homeopathy is effective
all the homeopaths have to do is, under controlled conditions, infect
say a few dozen of their leading proponents with Rabies. How they then
treat them would not need monitoring or even observing, they could do
it any way they liked. Within a few weeks all will be cured if they
are right and all will be dead if they are not.

I wonder why none of them have ever tried this?

Not much to keep up with when it comes to homeopathy.

Bottom line: it's quackery, not real medicine.

As far as I know someone survived that by now. But Marburg virus is
great. Or Ebola.

But, well, for a start, the homeopaths really could use something
weaker. Like Rabies.
