Poor lonesome Klaus Barbie! After torturing children, various
governments used him and let him think he had gotten away with it. He
ran and hid, of course-- as Nazis do-- but when a relentless German
Nazi hunter, Beate Klarsfeld, tracked him down in Bolivia, they found
him because of his incompetence at hiding, tried him and threw him in
prison. There, suffering from blood cancer, spine cancer, and prostate
cancer, he died in excruciating pain and despair.
Great story with a happy, happy ending!
