Another good story from Steven Moffat.

Good acting all round especially from President Nixon.

I was assuming that they were using an existing Oval Office set but they
actually build their own. So did they decide to keep it to use it again?
Don't think it's possible to dismantle it considering they plastered the
walls.

Lot's of questions that need answering.

Is the girl in the space suit River Song, Amy's baby, the girl on the phone
or one of those scream aliens, just a girl or something else?

Who got Amy pregnant. That's also a question not a statement and is she
really pregnant?

We already know that whatever is in the suit is impervious to bullet's so
Amy can't kill it with a gun, and was it River's gun she used?

Is River, Jenny the Doctor's daughter?

River is meeting the Doctor in the opposite order he meets her. Why? Is this
deliberate on her part and if so for what reason?

What is River doing in prison if she didn't kill the Doctor, or has she?

Will figure it out after church.

Another good story from Steven Moffat.

More like another more-or-less adequate story. The only things that
are actually _good_ on TV nowadays are gameshows and programmes like
that. (See my countless posts to radw passim.)

Oh, and the CBBC Liz Sladen tribute. That was good.

Knowing Moffat's love of cliche and melodrama, she probably is. Let's
all hope the baby doesn't grow up to be River.

Is River, Jenny the Doctor's daughter?

Unlikely. River is Moffat's own personal Mary Sue. He probably won't
make her a character from someone else's story.

And if her long speech to Rory is true, then she didn't even know
about the Doctor until she first met him, so she can't be Jenny.

I was curious about the set - built from scratch - in detail and accurate -
for 10 minutes of telly - seems very expensive.
Would have been nice if it could have been made as part of a touring
exhibit - or at least reusable
- or even a remodelling of an existing BBC Wales Office

There's a 3/4 size Oval Office set in the US. Can't remember what studio
it's located in but it's been used by plenty of movies and TV shows. Not
aware of a UK based equivalent unless someone wants to spill.

There's not much studio space in Bristol. Can't imagine Cardiff is any
different. One of the local for-hire studios the BBC uses is biggish but
there's no way a set like this would be left up.

Another good story from Steven Moffat.
Good acting all round especially from President Nixon.
I was assuming that they were using an existing Oval Office set but they
actually build their own. So did they decide to keep it to use it again?
Don't think it's possible to dismantle it considering they plastered the
walls.
Lot's of questions that need answering.
Is the girl in the space suit River Song, Amy's baby, the girl on the phone
or one of those scream aliens, just a girl or something else?
Who got Amy pregnant. That's also a question not a statement and is she
really pregnant?
We already know that whatever is in the suit is impervious to bullet's so
Amy can't kill it with a gun, and was it River's gun she used?
Is River, Jenny the Doctor's daughter?
River is meeting the Doctor in the opposite order he meets her. Why? Is this
deliberate on her part and if so for what reason?
What is River doing in prison if she didn't kill the Doctor, or has she?

The bald eagle emblem on the carpet in the Oval Office (where Nixon is being driven out of his mind by crank phone calls from a girl).

Great moments: The montage of adventures at the start, such as a naked Doctor hiding under a woman's skirts.

The numbered TARDIS blue envelopes.

The astronaut in the lake, who shoots the 1103 year old Doctor dead. The Doctor's body is then burned to prevent evil doers from getting a hold of it. Even a dead Time Lord body is a miracle.

River Song, Amy, and Rory find a blue envelope numbered 1. Amy/Rory had gotten 2, River Song had gotten 3, and an old FBI agent had gotten 4. Then an alive 909 year old Doctor comes out a restroom to greet River Song/Amy/Rory. River Song slaps him, then says "Spoilers" when the Doctor asks what is going on.
