[Stroke, cancer, diabetes related to trouser size]
That reference reads Heart Disease, diabetes, cancer.
Actually, it reads heart disease, type 2 diabetes, cancer.
Post by Brian ReayPerhaps it should include eyesight problems Spike
Perhaps it should. You'd get caught out with your own prescription,
though, so be careful for what you wish - you might just get it.
Post by Brian Reayor may be those who consume over the recommended alcohol intake
suffer from those.
Speaking of the things it does list, I'm sure any one reading the
group who suffers from those conditions will delighted at your
childish attempts at point scoring. I understand all, not least
diabetes, can be very unpleasant to live with even if not, in itself,
life threatening in the way cancer can be for example.
So you're saying that you can interject into a thread links to mere
newspaper-published stories about cancer, but someone following that
with an NHS link that mentions other conditions related to the issue
at hand is some form of bad taste?
The link in my case related to processed food, eg pre-prepared curries,
and wasn't edited etc.
The link in my case related to trouser size, eg large ones, and wasn't
edited etc.
Post by Brian ReaySurely someone who frequently rants re the virtues of healthy eating
sees the relevance?
So you're now saying that M&S prepared meals, balanced for their
contents and with their amounts printed on the front of the packages,
are unhealthy? Wow - I hope they don't see you in court.
Post by Brian ReayPlus, freshly prepared food- at least if done well- always tastes
between.
What are you ranting about?
Post by Brian ReayFood should be enjoyed, not endured. Rather like wine- the
occasional glass of a good wine is far better than knocking back a
bottle of plonk every night.
The J-curve couldn't care less about the difference - the above sounds
like a case of Cognitive Dissonance.

"RSGBTech is meant for everyone", or so the RSGB says. The group is
moderated 'to
ensure that the questions are on topic', but the group's own admissions
policy mention
(a pre-) 'vet', 'known', 'trouble', and 'maker', but not the vetting
policy! None of these are
mentioned in the RSGB's Guidelines, which they claim the group should
follow.
