Of course, you have your laws of physics for one thing or another...but,

you seem to avoid the question ...

Where Do The Laws Come From?

I understand the "we don't know" people...don't know
(which means since they don't know, you don't know, because you waiting for they to know so that you know, cause
you don't know how to know on your own.) (which means you weren't taught how to Think on your own)

But, but..avoiding the question... 'Where Do The Laws Come From?'

has come to a point of...Times Up.

You can no longer avoid the question.

Either, you come up with the answer NOW! or ...GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!

The law Creator...

God creates gravity that programs its mathematical time.

You are merely projecting your own ignorance.

The laws of physics are formalizations of consistent observations in Nature
(and therefore also called “laws of Nature”).

They allow us to describe with sufficient precision how Nature works, so
that we can *predict* with sufficient precision how she *will* work, given
initial conditions.

This allows us to understand better the world¹ that we are living in, thus
our place in this world, and to design and construct machines (e.g.
computers) to *use* the way that we understand that Nature works to
*benefit* us.

[One must not confuse laws *found* by scientists with laws *produced* by
lawmakers. For example, the laws of Nature as found by scientists do
not require a lawmaker, and there is no penalty for breaking them
because they cannot be broken in the first place (only refined or
found not to be a law of Nature at all [i.e., we had a
misconception about an aspect of Nature]).]

Starfaker, this is something you can understand. Laws of physics come
from the fantasies of men and women. They make them up. Well, not
exactly correct, they make up "theories" which is their fantasies as to
how reality "works". In science these theories are then compared against
reality to see how well they describe it. And as mentioned here, the
ability of a theory to correctly predict things that have not yet been
measured is considered important. So in other words starfaker, theories
are human bullshit just like all your fantasies.

So does that mean that a "creative" person like you can do science?
Well, you certainly can invent theories. Lots of people here do that.
But the part about checking with reality is more difficult. This means
you must have some idea of what people have measured reality to mean.
And here's where you fail.

But saying that, some people did not fail, so where do the "laws" of
physics come from? Well, "laws" of physics (or science) are theories
that have been tested so much and no exceptions to them found that they
are called "laws" meaning that they are assumed to always be true. But
they are really still just theories. For example Newton's laws have been
extensively tested for centuries and verified in millions of situations.
So people called them "laws". However, as it turns out careful
measurements show that Newton's theories are wrong! At certain speeds
they no longer hold showing they are just theories. But then we've
called them "laws" for so long that we still call them "Newton's laws"
just for historical reasons while everybody knows that they really
aren't always correct.

In engineering there are many theories that are more or less correct
over a limited range like say "Ohm's law" but they are not real laws.
and the correct name for such is "rules". In truth Ohm's law (again
called that for historical reasons) is really just Ohm's rule.

OK?

Nah. They come from Schenectady. By mail order.
