the tours is yet sold out and only a relative few even down to "Last
tickets".

I had looked at the prices, though they do include a visit to the LTM which
might make them more attractive to some. The museum ain't cheap either.

I can't recall if that is valid just on the day or for a period?

When we visited 55 Broadway using an off peak day return to get to
London there wasn't that much time to do the tour and then having
enough time for more than a cursory visit to the LTM though admittedly
we were influenced by it being Winter and dusk coming about 4 so
really did not want to spend too long in the city so forfeited the
museum visit.
To get value out of it on the day you really need to pick an early
tour which in some circumstances means that off peak travel is not
then an option so increases the cost of on the whole day out total.

"Ticket price includes one half-price* day pass to London Transport Museum
which must be used within 1 month of your event date, and a 10% discount on
all merchandise at LTM shop both online and in store, within one month of
your Hidden London event date."

I was amused by the Down Street tour which included tea at the Athenaeum.

So you're told to go dressed for what's essentially a very dirty building
site - I wonder what the clientele at the Athenaeum will make of your
high-viz and hobnail boots?

When I went on the Down Street tour you only had to take the steps down - at the end of the tour they stopped a passing Piccadilly Line train and everyone got on through the driver's door. The passengers in the first carriage seemed a bit surprised to see so many leaving what they assumed was a tiny driver's cab. But it definitely didn't include tea anywhere.

Also, it says that the tour in 75 minutes, I am assuming that that is not including the time for the 360 steps.

Also, it says that the tour in 75 minutes, I am assuming that that is not including the time for the 360 steps.

If I recall correctly it used to be advertised as a 60 minute tour which
included the time for the steps down but not back up again.

When I went on the tour it all felt a bit hurried and I didn't really
think it was good value for money when it was £32.45 but it might have
changed in the last couple of years.
