Storm Emma seems to have passed us by onto Wales and
Ireland and what snow we have is predominantly from the
east.

Talking of The Beast from the East, very few headers of
his to be deleted of late; likewise his apprentice, Snow Flurry.

media's boyz & gals on location, who knows what bad news has been interred.
Off to France24/ Deutsch-Welle/ CGTN et al to find out.

Well it is. I've seen a lot worse . I dug the car out yesterday and
went to the shops. No milk, potatoes, bananas or guacamole .

It's now snowing again quite heavily :-(

I got my Blue Peter sledge out of the attic just in case .

If there's more snow and the car gets stuck, I can drag the sledge to
the One Ton Depot and load it up.

The snow's completely gone here in Chippenham; is it well onto
the way to a complete thaw everywhere else?

Apart from the odd clod, it's all melted down here in Chippenham.

However, yesterday was a different story. I ventured out to my
local butcher who is 7 miles away in Bromham, and there was
a lot of drifting left at the roadside, so in order to get
back to Sainsburys, I avoided Forest Lane from Melksham to
Lacock and kept to the main road.

At my weekly Sainsburys shopping, all the shelves were
well stocked except for bread and milk which were all empty!
