Post by The TodalPost by pullgeesHe would have seen the classified evidence that we can't and it
doesn't seem he's convinced on the scale of certainty that the
Washington Post and the general anti Trump MSM are. If it takes lies
to bring Trump down then so be it as far as they are concerned.
Trump wants to de-escalate the tension that the out going
administration has created between the US and Russia and which western
media is continuously feeding us. There are hawks in Trumps own party,
John McCain being chief among them that are just itching for conflict.
What are these madmen pushing for WW3? So he is up against huge forces.
JFK wanted to smash the CIA and we know what happened to him.
You always try to see the best in people. That's nice.
Would you trust Trump to have the necessary skills to analyse raw
intelligence and come to conclusions that differ from those of the CIA?
Would that be with the assistance of his wife and his little boy?
It does not appear that the CIA did in fact come to any firm conclusion
based on the language they used. A comprehensive parsing of the wording
used can be obtained at:

What startled me was the use of the wording "we assess..."
I seem to recall similar language being used to assess Iraq's supposed
WMDs. We assess Saddam has Chemical and Biological weapons..... that can
be deployed within 45 minutes of an order to use them.
We assess is just another wording for "we think that".
Pres Obama had his legitimacy challenged by the Birther movement and was
then stymied by Congress for most of his term. It's now payback time.
